Mark Lanegan passed away about a year and a half ago from COVID complications. In the early to mid 90's his band Screaming Trees was part of the Seattle grunge scene. Mark made five solo records in the 90's, all of them very subdued, and largely acoustic based. He was acclaimed for his unique baritone voice. He struggled with drug addiction throughout most of his life, and his substance abuse problems derailed alot of the success he deserved during his lifetime.

I looked him up and did some researching after the reaction and was saddened by the news, far too often when i research artists they've already passed smh very talented man, covid is no joke RIP Mark Lanegan ❤
