Everything now is "off limits" Because........safety! Glad I'm 66.........the future will be a no fun zone.

Really. If you were standing there watching a train at any one if these locations you'd be in cuffs before the train finished passing

your are so right ! when i was trainfanning in the 1970s up to 1990s you could go anywhere, and add to that - there were almost no graffiti until the late 1990s. anyway, thanks for another great video !

@@feminazislayerI strongly disagree. I go all the time and drive along the tracks and shoot videos from all different locations and have never had an issue. Engineers even wave at me. I even stand next to the tunnels. No problems.

I miss Southern Pacific and all their "drag" freights and manned helpers. It's good you have all this nostalgia for us railroaders to watch. Thanks!

Thanks we miss those things about the SP too. We were lucky we started 35 years ago when the SP was still around

I love the Tehachapi Loop there is no other place like it It's one of my Favorite spots to catch trains wheather it's today but I like it back when the Southern Pacific and Santa Fe Railroads were running their trains back in the 1980 s 1970 s and 1960 s and even the 1950 s even the 1940 s and on back when it was pure SP and ATSF Days

Even back in the day even when clean, SP engines looked dingy compared to ATSF engines.

My grandpa used to take me to the Tehachapi loop. Seem like back then there was just a lot more traffic then there is now.
@RR1976Ай бұрын
We of course are not talking about that hill that overlooks the loop about a half mile away south of there... that's still not off limits... right?
@Greatdome99Ай бұрын
Yes it is off-limits. I was there in May 2024. The only legal vantage point is a viewing platform which is located in the wrong place. Plus there is a new set of telephone poles/wires recently added between you and the trains which get right in the way. Gone forever.

Nothing is off limits nor inaccessible in this world. There are no secrets, knowledge has risen! So you know and you go where you want. Or you don't going around asking questions. Getting permission, probably from somebody who lives for nothing but to make another person's life a living nightmare full of rules. Your trippin buddy and are the chaff I will separate my wheat from. 😂❤🎉

Well, as the old saying goes, better to beg for forgiveness rather than to ask for permission , now keep highballing on them tracks!!!
