The BEST Shrines in Breath of the Wild

The Shora Han shrine definitely my favorite because I remember purposely avoiding it because of its length, but when I finally did it, it was the most fun shrine in the game.

this is where breath of the wild's shrines truly shine imo, because you can literally complete them in hundreds of ways. I really want themed dungeons in tears of the kingdom, but I also really hope they keep this because figuring out your own cool little way to do a shrine is so rewarding!

i think an interesting challenge would be to bring loone (the weird girl with the ball) actual guardians of each type instead of just pictures of them, individually, or all at once if you wanted to absolutely torture yourself

I personally love Kah Okeo (Wind Guide) because it just feels so special. It’s super far off the beaten path with nothing around it other than the Rayne Highlands and is like a giant fortress, with a giant main room and hallways that have you pass the monk at the start of the Shrine. I think it’s honestly the peak of Shrine Design in this game. Blue Flame is a close second, though. The real difference maker between the two is that Wind Guide is replayable, but Blue Flame is not. When you leave and re-enter Blue Flame all the torches stay lit (except for a couple at the absolute end, I think,) but when you go back into Wind Guide everything respawns, making it great fun to go back to after you finish it.
