What i really love about this mission in perticular is how isolated you feel, surounded by tall buildings and narrow streets, its just you, almost alone deep in urban jungle. And its especially good because the character is deeply connected to his family back home.

Well, this mission wasn’t scheduled for Miller and Anvil 3. If you look on Miller’s previous mission, Anvil 3 was supposed to just take the highway and a campament with Soviet B-21s but something unexpected happened Misfit in an assault mission found a Nuke so they asked for an emergency “relief force” to get the nuke out. That’s why Anvil 3 went alone without any infantry or air support.

Not the thicker armor like the front. But a hit to the top or back from a modern RPG is not something you want to risk. The armor is thinnest on top and infantry having an elevated position directly over you like in a building is a nightmare scenario for tank crews, that's why tanks operating in urban environments with no infantry support is a huge no-no for any organized military. Sadly there was no choice here due to the emergency with the nuke, and you see how quickly things went wrong for the tanks.
