Teja | Prema The Journalist

Teja is an Indian film director, screenwriter, former cinematographer and film maker, known for his works predominantly in Telugu film industry. He debuted as a cinematographer under the direction of veteran director Ram Gopal Varma for the film Raatri (1992). He made his directorial debut with Chitram (2000) and prodution debut with Jayam (2002). Some of his works like Chitram (2000), Nuvvu Nenu (2001), Jayam (2002), Nijam (2003) and Nene Raju Nene Mantri (2017) went on to become blockbusters.
In this interesting conversation with Prema The Journalist, Teja shared his views on career from cinematography to production, introducing young actors, hero and villain characterisation, actors like Uday Kiran, Mahesh Babu, Rana Daggubati, Navdeep etc., his upcoming film Ahimsa and much more. లవ్ యూ ప్రేమా గారూ..🌹 ఇప్పుడు అంటే యూ ట్యూబ్ ఫెసిలిటీ ఉందీ కాబట్టీ.. చాలామంది యాంకరింగ్ చెస్తున్నారు గానీ... కానీ.. మిమ్మల్నీ 20yrs బ్యాక్ నుండి చూస్తున్నాము.. ఆ రోజుల్లో ఏదైనా ఛానల్ లో ప్రేమా interview ఉందనీ తెలిస్తే.. వేరే పనులు మాగ్జిమం postpone చేసుకుని మరీ చూసే వాళ్ళం.. ఇప్పటికీ.. ఇంటర్వూ చేసే పద్ధతిలో (తెలుగులో) మీ తర్వాతే ఎవరైనా.. అంత నిండుతనం కనిపిస్తూంది.. చిన్న మార్పు కూడా లేదు.. ఆల్ టైమ్ సెమ్ ఎనర్జిటిక్.. సంబాషణలు చూడాలన్న ఇంట్రెస్ట్ పుట్టేలా ఉంటాయి.. ఎంతోమంది ఈ ఫీల్డ్ కు రావటానికి.. మీరే ఇన్స్పిరేషన్ అయ్యి ఉండచ్చని అనిపిస్తోంది.. గెస్ట్ నీ ఏమడగాలి అనీ ఏమడగకూడదనీ.. ఇదంతా బిగ్ ఆర్ట్.. అదీ మీకు god gift గా వచ్చిందీ.. Please take this as a positive criticism: knowingly or unknowingly you tend to put words in the guest’s mouth or try to convey your opinion and want them to agree on the same… therefore your question framing ends up with a clue to the answer or what you wanted to hear rather than guest answering their views or opinions. ( few of my friends also felt the same ) . I love your interviews and the way you conduct yourself , respecting guests and your positive values towards society.
