When Eren mention about going home, it triggered Reiner's other sort of personality (which will be explained more in the arc). So thats why Reiner just casually say who they are straight on. The reason Eren just goes along with what Reiner says is becos, unlike with Annie, Reiner is like a brother to him, so he dont want to believe until Reiner transformed. Actually when Eren first saw Annie transformed, Eren dont have the will or goal to transform becos he dont believe it. But eren is not that close with Annie, so imagine with Reiner, Eren dont want to believe it till he transformed
