Yoshimitsu and Law are such great guys. Yoshimitsu is great because he gives his wealth to the poor and seems happy about it. Law is great because he accepts these gifts with overwhelming gratitude; he isn't the least bit ashamed to get help for his family. I can see Law vowing in his heart to use this as an opportunity to improve.

I played the first Tekken games in middle school back in the late 90s and looking back at this... ...Man, the original eight looked odd and terrifying. Even Tekken 2 looked a bit more pleasing to modern eyes. Ha ha.

The uncanny valley was part of the charm for me. I hate modern realistic graphics. I love this old stuff. It feels more natural. It's not overwhelming or overly sophisticated. I know it's just a game; like lego blocks come to life. And besides the later games never managed to capture the mystical wild charm of the original games. You know what I mean... I felt like the story could come to life. Tekken 2 is the better example for this, and 3. I can't even describe the feeling I used to get when seeing the different stages in these games, especially the ancient ruins from different countries. It was as if an unseen spiritual side was connecting them all.

Hello coming in 4 years later. Sorry. Apparently Hanyaa masks weren't only worn in kabuki, but also by some ninja. Yoshimitsu himself is a ninja, probably the design choice was to make him look more traditionally japanese than your average ninja.
