Can't even imagine what seeing Kazuya comeback after all those years must've been like (granted he was in Tag 1 but this feels like a total rebirth of Kazuya). Tekken 4 and 5 are by far my favourite Tekken games of the Franchise. Especially Tekken 4 is sourly the most unique and underrated (mostly because of the choices that hindered the competitive scene) but it is my favorite Tekken to date, because of the very seriousness Vibes of the Story aspects perspective. The seriousness atmosphere of Tekken 4 it's on another level in my opinion. The soundtrack is what gets me the most next to the game's atmosphere. With soundtracks like: Fetus(Prologue), Authentic Sky, Unihabited(Mall Area) Didgerhythm(Jungle Area) Touch and Go(Airport Area) and Kitsch(Beach Area) and The Inner Shrine(Hon-Maru Temple) and others soundtracks, For me Tekken 4 remains even in these days the most Unique Tekken game of the series. ☯️

I agree on T4 being the peak. It’s a shame they didn’t continue the story directly from T4. In Jin’s ending he drops a white feather foreshadowing he’s an angel. Other characters had lots of depth in their story as well. I think tekken would’ve been better off if they continued what they started in 4.

This was truly a great game. I remember reading a review in a game magazine back in the day, saw the screenshots and gameplay footage but at the time my parents could not afford me the PS2, so i was stuck at playing tekken 3 on PS1 ( which is not a bad thing :D ). As soon as i got my hands on PS2 around 4-5 years later which i bought with my own money i instantly got Tekken 4 and started playing it. I still play it ocassionally to this day. Great game, i dont get why it was bashed when compared to other Tekken games in the series.

I basically have developed my own personal head canon for Tekken, I just decide to think that Jinpachi is the source of the Devil Gene and that Jin is cured after he kills Jinpachi, becomes CEO of the Mishima Zaibatsu and uses it to undo the evils caused by his father and grandfather. To me that is how Tekken ends.

It’s funny, my first Tekken was 3 in arcades, so I had no idea who Kazuya was and I was wondering who the hell is this guy after watching this intro in arcades on repeat anytime I was out of quarters. The atmosphere of it was so damn cool
