Bob in tekken 6 was in general the most versatile tekken character , he had good punishment despite the lack of a standing i15 launcher (well cd1 is i15 if inputed perfectly), some of the best pokes in the game , insane damage , great approach with cd1 and all of this complimented with his braindead gameplan

Should have just ended the vid with d1 being 0 on block. That move is the sole reason why Bob was so cheap in T6. If you watch Kor vs Fab at EVO, it's literally them just taking turns doing d1. Everything else Bob essentially has now in T7 with all the patches, but the reason he isn't placed in top 5 in that game is d1 being -9 on block.

Some interesting fact too was that db+3+4,4 u showed was insane as the first hit did not stagger on block, meaning it was a continue string or not. The frames he had on block was insane

That was arcade release Bob. Back then Bob's cd+4 by itself knocked down and allowed you do follow up with uf+3+4,4 or cc d+4,3,4. Close to wall you got to bound

@@eddyyt8 yeah, other vanilla bob BS is that his WS 2,1+2 and uf1+2 launched, 2nd hit of cd3,1 only came out on hit, and CD 1+2 (hold) into WR 3+4 did 50% of your health.

Tekken 6 arcade bob was over the top of the most broken character his wall combo It hurt your eyes when you saw the life go down right away its so disgusting and godlike It seems more or less the Wall combo of Lars in Tekken 6 But maybe it did more damage.

Vanilla tekken 6 kaz says hello , well untill console release where he got hammerred to death
@Anonymous-dg5je6 ай бұрын
Just saying, half the stuff you mentionned doesn't apply in BR. Tekken 6 Bob really was strong in Tekken 6 Vanilla, which is where he really shined. Natural df2, Natural HellSweep launch, Natural Snake Edge launch on db4. d1 launching on CH and 0 on block, 4 hit wall combos system and WS22 launching. Most of the stuff he did in BR was doable by a lot of other characters. df12 isn't safe on BR, it's -12. d1 ain't a CH launcher anymore, besides it's 18 frames so it's not that broken considering he really doesn't crush with a poke and is generally quite abusable frame wise. Poke into mixup really wasn't Bob forte, because most of his Low pokes are negative on Hit, so you can take your turn naturally with a Mid poke on the opponent side. His Mids weren't all shiny neither, df1 is 14 and doesn't crush. b2 is 13 but it's -6 on block, it always was, you can answer back. He's reknown to be a low pressure character, hit 'n' run sort of, b3 is -15, though it's his Steel Pedal for instance. ff2 was also a High in this game, so you mostly had only few reasons not to duck the character. bb4 is his orbital, and it's a pretty shit one, really. No one ever complained about it because it's super negative on block, short ranged and awful on whiff. He's gimmicky but as a whole he remains a Mishima based character, meaning that without all the broken stuff he had in TK6 Vanilla, he's balanced. Still good at poking and stuff, but it's not unga bunga at all. You barely could even land his 14 frames punisher because it had shit range in this game, or even use CD1 without risk because it had much more recovery frames. In Vanilla Kazuya was hella broken too, even stronger than Bob in fact due to 112 wallsplating and having much more range than in BR and dangerous mixups/combos without having the trouble actually lacking plus frames. We don't talk a lot about characters like Julia which was hella strong too. Bryan was also strong in Vanilla. So no, I disagree about saying Bob was a complete "disaster" in Tekken 6 BR (game with green health bars).

These videos are so barebones, biased and overall terrible. "Bob was a disaster" vs. "Jinpachi and Heihachi were so strong in Tag 2" and "Tekken 6 Bryan Was Best Great Damage + Sabaki Parry & Combo Reset", while Neutral or DOS (You can break it) are never adressed properly. @@Kurosaki-san089 I''ve been aware of that over 10 years. The point still stands. How "Bob poking game was so strong in Tekken 6" or "Pokes into mix-up" address anything when there's zero explanation. "SS 1+2" is one of the best". Like fuck, could you tell me why it was one of the best. Might as well do a full video titled "King's throw game was so amazing in Tekken 6" because overall break-window was shorter or "Devil Jin was even better in Tag 2" because WS2 was a screw, allowing bound afterwards. Latest video in the channel is called "Tekken 5 DR Bryan Was the Best with Great Buffs" but zero mention about how he lost b+1's natural hit launch properties.
