@@daymi7300 What's funny is everybody said the same exact thing about Ninjakilla when he played MKX. "When MK11 comes out NK won't stand a chance" "He'll take a few years to be good at it" "he'll never make top 8 in a stacked tournament" and so on... But look at him now out of the 3 offline tournaments he went to he won 2 and came in 4th in the other one, and the most stacked one he won dropping just 1 game in top 8 beating the top 3 players in nrs ranking to do so. Not to mention he started with Tekken, so I wouldn't doubt a man with reads, reactions, and execution like NK.

Get some more practice in with Lars since there's more he can do now that we're in season 3. Playing Jin is a good choice and my advice to you is 1. Learn how to wavedash. If your wavedash is solid then the fear will always be there, however be careful because wavedashing revolves around you moving forward towards your opponent and in lower ranks those that know will fear the wavedash mix up that's coming while the majority will press buttons and throw out every ridiculous move at you so develop your rhythm that way you can switch from offense into defense i.e wavedashing into sidestep and wavedashing into block that way you can bait your opponent and punish/whiff punishing whatever they throw out.(also your wavedash can cancel into ff moves, if you press f, qcf ,f) 2. Jin's block punishment isn't bad so know your punishes his 2,4 is great but the last hit is a high and you can be punished if you're late on the punish and your opponent ducks so use it when you know it'll hit. 3. More often then not throughout progressing in ranked you and your opponents will try to feel each other out in the neutral almost like a old western showdown where one of you is waiting for the other person to make a move so you can draw your gun and that move/weapon you're going to need in battle is b2,1. You can whiff punish, check, keep out, close out a round/match as well as end combos with this move because it gives good oki and it puts your opponent on the wall so you can go in for a wall combo 4. B1 into forward 2, 3, or 4 will give you the ff versions of those moves, b1 into f2 can help you out in bind because b1 has some evasiveness to it and f2 will come out as ff2 which is safe. 5. Grabs are Important! Especially in the lower ranks because a lot of players don't know how to break them so keep that in mind because you have qcb1+3, u/f 1+2 and your d/f2+3, you can wavedash into all of them but the easiest to wavedash into is u/f1+2, I recently found this out but if you do u/f1+2 and immediately press u/b3+4 your grab will do more damage 6. The art of 4. To crack your opponents defense as well as chip away at your opponents health without being too unsafe you'll need to use d/b4, f4 and d4, after conditioning them to stand/block low your grabs your f4, ff3, ff2, f,n,d/f1 start becoming even more useful to you. 7. When being pressured especially with a lot of highs and sequence moves don't forget you have a parry, it parries highs, mids, rage drives and rage arts and it will save you especially when dealing with frame traps that give gaps in them, however it does not parry lows, but you do have u/f2 which has a built in sidestep which helps avoid pressure along with that it's a safe mid and on counter hit it knocks your opponent back and allows you to breathe/get away from the wall. Hopefully this helps! I'm moving to this game from MK, it's just better. It's so much deeper and more intricate. You inspired me to play liu and now I'm gonna play Law, me and you have a very similar playstyle in a lot of ways, which is why you are my favorite player in the whole fgc lol. Any character you love I tend to love as well even though there is no comparison in terms of skill. I'm getting tekken for my birthday tomorrow and I'm moving over permanently, even though its gonna take me a long time to adjust. AMAZING defense in these matches by the way, just insane.
