Actually here in Japan people say "I like it a lot" all the time. It could be the coffee they had that morning, or you asked their favorite kind of beer and they told you Kirin and then would say "I like it a lot" sort of after they finish speaking, or of as a closer to avoid awkward silence.

YUYU is great at describing Tekken’s fundamentals. If only Tekken had a tutorial like this it would be an easier game for people to learn. Great video.

Tekken is a game that doesn't want its players to learn. I mean, you have to pay a DLC for a basic feature that's present in every other competitive fighting game right off the bat named "frame data".

They polished her frames a lot in Tekken 7, the biggest example is how b+1+2 went from -7 in Tag2 to -2 in T7, which makes it an actually useful keepout low now

She was like a bottom tier unfinished character in that game: one of her low pokes was *-12 on hit* her ff3 axe kick was one of the worst in the game (now is even better than mishimas ff4 axe kick) and she lacked a low with good frames on hit to start the offense because her best low poke d3 was introduced later in TTT2.

YUYU and ARUUU playing both Zafina and Xiaoyu really helps me realize that what I’m doing with both of these characters is pretty on-point while also showing me things I still need to work on. Awesome tutorial - I love both of those characters as well as the players using them.

For the combo at 7:09, it has to be noted that after the (D+3,3) you have to cancel out of stance with (D+B) or the string will leave you in Scarecrow.

I was having trouble w wall combos for Zafina until this guide. Also something I think that is worth noting, you can combo off of Zafina’s Tarantula 4,3

I like this approach to bring more people into the FGC. I know this might be a noob question, but could you go over proper hand placement and techniques when using an Arcade stick or Console controller? Sometimes I feel the direction inputs can be imprecise, and feedback from Pros could be useful. Maybe even add practice exercises to improve someone's inputs and reflexes.

I'm still trying to learn Zafina; she's hard for me, but I really like the character. I've got, maybe, one actual combo and I'm still 50/50 on the timing for Cursed Claw. Not to mention I still haven't gotten the hang of the right move, from the right stance, for the right situation.
