Yes, but the story focuses mostly on Jin, who has more chapters spread out. Its way more coherent than MK.

Dominants are essentially the summoners of Final Fantasy XVI, except, instead of summoning them as separate entities, each Dominant has control over one specific summon and their powers (Clive has control over Ifrit, but he's able to harness the power of other summons that he takes a part of throughout the game). Dominants also can basically transform into the summon they have, which is why Clive asks Jin if he's a Dominant, as he's in his Devil Jin form.
