Temper's zoning attacks could be relatively weak but leave status effects. Ice attacks freezes you in place, while fire lowers your defense. Randomly, if she lands a critical hit, a fire attack could leave a burn effect that gives chip damage over time, and ice could just lower your speed.

Smash Bros on GBA Build a Roster. Rules: The characters have to have significants or had memorable games on Nintendo’s handhelds. Character move sets can be changed to match their handheld counterparts. So Link could have his Awakening or Oracle weapons. Mario could have the bunny ears or super balls. Wario’s move set would be based on the Wario Land titles. Guest characters are allowed, and personally for me, my 3 picks are Snake, Shantae and Klonoa.

Thoughts: Roster size should be around Melee size or less given the content and hardware and I'm limiting franchise represents to 2 per series. Mario- Both fight with some inspiration from Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga respectively. Link- Oracle series or Minish Cap (GBA is too small for two Links so one or the other) Samus- Based on Fusion Lucas- Will be the only one to represent Mother series. Marth- I could go with Lyn logically but given familiarity and limitations (unless one is okay with her as a Speedy Marth clone) but given my proposal for echoes (thinking about limitations and such), I got a GBA rep in mind. Wario- He was gonna be in Melee so I'd squeeze him in before Brawl but since Wario Ware was also GBA and was a hit, I'd see a mixture of both games in Wario. Isaac- He was an assist in Brawl and Ultimate, Golden Sun has the fanbase. Put him in or Felix. DK, Yoshi, Kirby, Pikachu, Fox, Falcon- No major changes. If we had to have a guest character or two: Sonic and Mega Man.EXE as the choices given their companies relationship with Nintendo and that both characters had a series of games for the GBA with Sonic Advance and Mega Man Battle Network.

@ My initial list was very GB/GBC focused, because some GBA titles may not have existed yet at the time the game would be made. Kind of like how Melee started st the beginning of the GameCube. The initial idea was to make it a final title on the GBC. My favorite Wario was the one in the first Wario Land. With the different powers based on the hats he wore. Fox and Falcon don’t make my list. I cut Ganondorf for traditional pig Ganon. Captain Falcon, I replaced with Captain Syrup (Wario series villain). Also wanted to go more obscure and Japanese only with my sword fighter pick, as well as handheld focused. Instead of having a Fire Emblem character, I went with Prince Sable (The Frog for Whom the Bell Tolls) From the Melee roster, I cut Fox, Ness, Captain Falcon, Peach, Bowser, Dr Mario, Zelda, Ganondorf, Young Link, Falco, Ice Climbers, Marth and Roy.

Glad you also added Nightcrawler Other ideas: - Maggot: we would be a puppet character who's maggots could deal damage but then when he absorbs them back he would lose their puppet capabilities but it would restore some health. - Iceman - Chamber - Cannonball: (high-speed aerial mobility with some armor could be interesting) - Sebastian Shaw: absorbing damage and returning it back multiplied. He gets scarier the more you beat him up giving him the highest comeback factor in the game.

it would be sick if after you beat genisis, the mask takes over whoever you were playing as and the next time you get up the last boss you have to beat the new host! (eg. if you beat the game with wolverine, he becomes the next final boss, powered up with the mask, then when you beat him with say storm, storm is then the next final boss with the mask, and so on and so on ect)
