It is like Lee chaolan vs kazuya, absolutely no justification for redemption, nothing. Kazuya and jin are unforgivable for what they done, don't forget that jin cause the WW3 just to "find" azazel. Or he can just wait Nina in tekken 6 to get the information from heihachi and Killing azazel in he sleep. Kazuya just kidnapp his father. (Maybe kill) for any reason. That was bullshit. Like jun who beat ogre, f***** non sense. Please just try to get more objective.

Much like how Kazuya and Bruce are bros too. If you ever noticed parallels Jin has rivalry with Hwoarang Kazuya has rivalry Paul Jun’s obsession to get Kazuya’s Devil D Xiaoyu’s obsession to get Jin’s Devil D. Now that’s just a few parallels but yeah this is what I’ve noticed

I love the little details that when Eddy plays his instrument before facing Kazuya. He’s playing at a faster pace with more aggression but eventually slows down as if he’s calming himself down and reminding himself to be the better man.

In Tekken 6, Eddy made a deal with Jin that involved him joining the Tekken Force in exchange for the greatest Healthcare that his master can receive for his illness. Despite the Zaibatsu's tech and medicine, Eddy's master still ended up dying.

Eddy worked for Jin in Tekken 6. Eddy wanted the Mishima Zaibatsu (lead by Jin) and it's resources so he could save his ill master. So he and Jin came to an agreement: work for Tekken Force, and I'll give you the funds and resources to help save your master. Eddy's master passed away at the end of T6, as seen in Eddy's ending. Now in T8, Eddy and Jin meet again (their T8 battle the intro). And Jin respectfully gives his condolences to Eddy. Jin also KNOWS what it's like to lose a master you deep care for (Jin's mother... who was presumed ded UNTIL recently in T8). He he understands what Eddy has gone / going through. Which is why Eddy responds at the end of the match that "we'll overcome our pasts together".

To add onto this, one thing that nobody is mentioning is that Jin was very dismissive over Eddy's situation in Tekken 6, due to Eddy losing 2 major positions on the battlefield. Jin bluntly states that he "did [his] share" and Eddy continues to finish the job due to their deal. This was back when Jin was very dismissive and rude in T6, so it's another thing he's apologising for. Overall, it's another showing that Jin is finally back to his kinder self prior to starting the war. It's nice to see Eddy forgive him and share his sentiment in trying to move on from the past. Character development on both sides.
