Great video! I think for b3 it could also be worth mentioning that if you're whiffing from range 3 and an opponent is trying to run in on you, you also have to option to throw out f2 which can add to the keepout since it gives a launcher on hit

im not above the b+3 extensions ngl, although i think theyre cheeky more than anything, imo they arent all that practical in matches because theyre still incredibly slow to come out of b+3 and are intensely punishable on their own. i generally wouldnt recommend it for solid play since the risk/reward is so bad, although you *are* playing asuka. no one said you have to play solid 🧠🪱

thank you 🙏 someone else mentioned df+4 to me, it has nice reach, but its bad on whiff, it recovers a lot more slowly than it looks. i dont tend to use it for keepout

ty 🎉offense for asuka is absolutely on the docket. its a bit of a tricky one that im still figuring out, because asukas offense can be really convoluted depending on what you want to get out of it, but i might consider making a video on the simple stuff, based on what i wrote in my baby's first asuka guide (basics of using her string extensions, plus frames, capitalizing on respect by applying power mixups). you can check out that guide in the meantime, if youre just looking for a start obv

its hard to make a fighting game worse than tekken 7, i think. 8 is fantastic as a game, some people arent happy with the direction of the gameplay (rewards offense and disincentivizes defense), but i think its way better and easier to understand
