That was a good refresher and general guide. I’m at Tekken King and yeah the dragonov players adapt much more effectively around those ranks but at least showing that I know the basic workarounds to his best tools helps a ton in the matchup and doesn’t let them autopilot.

I main both characters, since IRL i love grappling arts. The best advice against Dragunov AND king, is to learn the character. Learn dragunov, he is fun, take it to at least Mighty ruler. You will not only know the moves, but the mindset and what people go for, and why. Same if you happen to hate king, learn him. The match against him will be so familiar, you will actually enjoy the fight. When I play against dragunov as king, i know and recognize every single button and string the dragunov does. Same when i play against king with dragunov. Try it, not only will you learn the match, you will add another char to your bag.

Bro I use button buffering often so I don't miss my follow ups. Already press Down and 2 while kick parry animation plays so I can mash 3, easy people's elbow. Same for throws just keep pressing down back and 3, and just mash 4. The moves always come out exactly at the right frame.

-muscle armour for the big moves -when blocking d2 punish with crouch grab -when hit by a low just do giant swing -when the sneak thingy begins do leg parry That should be the take away from this lecture right? And giant swing being 10 frames feels so disgusting as i feel like a addict by spamming the damn thing every 5 seconds
