TEKKEN 8 - Lars Punish Training: Victor (Full Move List)

Exploring all of Victor’s move list to perform punishes with Lars in Tekken 8. I start with the built-in Punishment Training, then I go through all of his attacks one-by-one. Timestamps are below the input explanation so you can jump to the attack you need to see.

1= LP | 2= RP | 3= LK |4= RK
B= Back | F= Forward | U= Up | D= Down | N= Neutral
WS= While Rising (Crouch, then while standing up) | FC = Full crouch (Hold down-forward)
CH= Counter Hit | WB = Wall Break
RA= Rage Art | RD= Rage Drive
DEN= Dynamic Entry (F3) | SEN= Silent Entry (unique transitions)

Great vid Jst. About that Lai 1,2,2. The best thing i could think of is 2,1. Punishes the 2 hit and gives you a free mixup and floats the third hit. Once you confirm the float, you add limited entry 2 to screw and you fill in a combo.

That's not a bad option-select. I still feel like it doesn't give him what he deservers, but it's a decent alternative.

Seems so. I have noticed that most Victors will go for all 3 hits, and I haven't seen a single one do just 2 hits. So that's important player habit info.

I think the best thing to do is actually lab it while keeping the audio queues in mind, he says expulsion every time before the 3rd hit. If he doesn’t speak, go for the other punish

While you're in training mode, scroll down in the menu until you see 'Punishment Training'.

Delayed hopkick is never worth now, only does 20 damage

Well I recently discovered that WS3 is a better punish for -20 or worse moves, because you can get up to 80 damage. But Delayed Hopkick is still good, with the best combo I've found to do 78 damage. Sadly, you can't do Delayed Hopkick into UF3.

Yeah, I don't like Delayed Hopkick as much anymore. But I still do it in neutral. The JST special lives on 😎
