Tekken 8 Nina Max Damage Combos (No Heat)

I think Nina has some of the most damaging combos in the game at the moment, her combo damage is through the roof.
These combos are extremely difficult and this video is solely to show what is possible, these combos are not staple combos as to why I have not included notations.

Saw a couple people say similar things but I love how much Down Back 2 there is in these combos. It was my favorite move in 7 and still is in this. Love the counter hit animation and the way it juggles. Sick video. Totally stealing some of these combos. I was worried that this game would be too crazy or whatever, but should've had faith that they knew what they were doing. Insanely fun game and after trying like have the cast everyone is super fun to play.

It’s not just doing combos but skill ceiling for this character is really really up there. Requires perfect execution for butterfly loops, sidestepping correctly etc… I’m in the process of learning the butterfly loops but might take me years as it did dragunov ‘s cdc wall carries

thx for the video :) im happy to see the double uf4 after qcf1 ch. honestly i struggle a bit with the new combos but thats only because im to greedy. in T7 ninas max dmg combos became my staple but the new db2 combos really are a tough. but im happy for the challenge to make these max dmg combos my staples :) btw 02:47 - 02:49 you can hit qcf2 too you just have to instant dash before you do it. more dmg and better oki because of flipover.

Sick video. When trying to hit df3,2 into db2 after uf4, uf3 - is there any timing you need to consider after a launch (e.g. df2)? I am so inconsistent with it and not sure what variable I am missing. Thanks!

No timing needed with uf4, uf3, df3,2b. The timing is all in the db2 when you cancel Hayashida. You just gotta cancel her backsway like you would ss1b, uf4 but instead it’s after df3,2 and you cancel it with db2.

Do you think some of the df3,2 db2 routes are stapleable? I was practicing some the other day and felt like it was really inconsistent but im unsure if that was just not knowong timing or set up, or if it is a pretty situational combo

Not these ones but there are other routes that will be. I’ll write one out for you so you get an idea. df2, uf4, uf3, df3,2b, db2, dash, df3,2b, qcb4, db2, qcf4,3,1+2

Df3,2 to qcb4 makes more sense. Now to figure out where it's worth going for these/adding these into combos vs. Ws1 loops

@@themightylubu Yeah you do otherwise the qcf4,3,1+2 will whiff. The 3 will whiff quite a bit so it’s just to make it more consistent.

So I've noticed recently when trading on f+3 that for some amount of frames the opponent is actually standing. Tried it just now in training mode with a Nina dummy doing d/f+1 into d/f+1, then trading with f+3 after blocking the first d/f+1 that you can actually get whatever launcher you want afterwards (b+1+4, d/b+3+4, u/f+2,1) for crazy damage! I got 115 damage with a non-max damage combo with heat and no wall splat on open stage from u/f+2,1 and b+1+4.

@@DNAofDeath There are plenty of guides on how to do them out there and honestly, once you have them down they become easy to do. It’s just getting to that stage is the hard part. Do this combo over and over if you want to learn how to do butterflies. df2, df3,2, ssr1f, ws1, iws+1, iws+1, etc… It’s all about a steady rhythm and just keep doing the combo until you land the iws+1. To perform iws+1 however. I use this method. qcf, wait a slight moment and then tap 1.

I just don’t know if I can buffer qcf input while she’s performing another move, and if yes, I think I buffer qcf too early or too late. I just don’t know the window when the game “accepts” a buffered move and when not - IF it even does. I don’t know 😵‍💫

I've been having the same problem. I think the only tip I can give you, is that you have to instant dash right after the db2, just do it as quickly as possible. And immediately use df3 right after the dash.

There are 2 different outcomes when landing db2 One gives 57 +frames (for which you need to be frameperfect with the dash, qcf4) The other (if sliiightly delayed) gives 59 +frames. Now you'd have a 3 frame grace window. I am experimenting with it rn and its damn hard and kinda feels a bit random sometimes

When you do df3,2b db2. Hold back when the 2 is coming out in the df3,2 string. As soon as you see Nina sway back press db2. You just gotta feel the timing and cancel it into db2 as soon as you see her sway back.

The easiest to implement for floor break is d 3,4,3. Wall breaks in general work with all moves that also cause normal wall splats. For Nina all variations of f 1+2 work just as an example. There are a bunch of them.
