Spoilers ahead ... Jin x Xiaoyu are not official but they are practically canon now. Their relationship is a big part of the story. Xiaoyu also finally confessed her feelings. Her and Jin's relationship is very wholesome.

@@guillermogarcin9529 haven't really dwell with individual character story, yet. Sadly, Asuka didn't have a big part in the main story. Shaheen has a few minutes screentime in the main game. Aside from Jin and Kazuya, I think Lars has the longest screentime. His fight with Kazuya is badass. Jun was not present in the main story until the post credit. And Claudio went out with a bang.

The story mode is way better than in Tekken 7 🤩 I wonder what are Reina's intentions though 🤔 Par contre Victor s'il te plaît, ne jette pas de fleurs à Heihachi, s'il n'avait pas été monstrueux avec son propre fils Kazuya ne serait pas devenu le diable qu'il est 😒 Those first chapters also confirmed the theory about the mysterious archaeologist figure in the intro being Niklas Kleisen 🙃 And those theories about the Devil power having being granted to humans by Azazel himself were also true If Desire is the key to awaken the power of the Devil, then I guess desire can take multiple forms, such as the desire to live (being reminded of Heihachi who once tried to kill him awakened Devil Jin's powers against Reina), the desire for the thrill of the fight (Jin must have felt this while fighting against Hoawrang, as rivals fighting each other is something that they enjoy) and I beleive that the desire to protect could also help Jin master the Devil's power. Then I can speculate that Kazumi may have lost control of her powers in the flashback of Tekken 7 because she had conflicting desires, the desire to accomplish her mission and protect the world from Heihachi's ambitions, in opposition to her desire born from her love for Heihachi and for her son Kazuya.

As i said,Jin is weakened during those fights where he struggles too much against people he shouldn't. This game also explains his weirder loses(like Tekken 5 to Hwoarang). Struggles with his devil gene messes with his power

Nina's role in this story mode still seems strange to me, it seems as if she is only taking Anna's place, it was better to have used her than to put Nina in her place, and I feel that these fights with Reina and then Hwoarang should have been later in the story, as apparently it will only be playable with Jin, I was hoping that it would be possible to play with the other characters but it seems that it will just be Jin.

I don't know dude, nina is Professional when Relating to work as Assassin. Like when he work with heihahchi even she hate heihahchi and kazuya, but she still did her job well. possibly Nina will Betrayal kazuya since in tekken 7 when she was once assigned to find jin and she actually find him, we all can see that nina Initiative to hide jin to somewhere where jin can't find by anyone even to heihahchi. For now there are three people that we already know they are sided with Kazuya. It is nina, brian, and azusena.

But before killing her, they gave birth to Kazuya, who possesses the devil gene thanks to his mother. Kazuya was saved from death when Heihachi threw him off a cliff when he was 5 years old thanks to the devil gene. So far we know that Heihachi doesn't have the devil gene & we definitely don't know too much info about Reina...
