When Yoshi goes into no sword stance, some of his moves act as if Yoshi was in heat, such as flash parry starting combos, f1+2 lunging farther, and inflicting soul steal. You can also see it in some of his combos when he uses flash to pick up on bound or to get soul steal off of combo ender/wallbreak 3 1 1+2

The no sword stance lets him get life steal off 1+1 and up back 1+2 and buffs flash 8:03 and Forward 1+2. Basically gives him access to some of his heat moves. So cool that your doing these reactions

Quick note: The move 3,1 into dragonfly 1+2 (~11:50) is a frametrap so if they press they get hit, thats why they have to respect it

11:44 this transition is +7 on block and the homing attack from dragon fly is also +7 on block. Its a real frame trap that catches alot of people who dont know any better

It's been so great to see one of my favorite youtubers make videos on yoshi of all people, my main since back when flash stole moves, also eyemusician dropped a whole video on yoshi combos, really good stuff (if a little technical) Also also, you get full combo on nss flash, in general nss is way more important than ever Without heat/nss flash does guarantee b2, 2

2:27 When you trap them with the windmill, make sure you hold back to finish the animation quicker. My experience with it, at least in Tekken 7, is that at certain angles even when they are hit, they can still squeeze in a low kick getting up. You can do the full animation to confuse them of the timing when they try to remain on the ground longer thinking you whiffed and the move is about done.

So quick notes for Yoshi players, take what he says with a grain of salt. He hasn't labbed the character enough yet. So please excuse the little misinformation he was saying. Here are some corrections: 1) Yoshimitsu has a guaranteed 14 frame follow up into Heat after Flash. In No Sword Stance, Flash still launches opponents with or without heat. 2) Manji Dragonfly (Helicopter stance) F2 is not minus as he claims. This homing high move is actually +7 on block. Same with Flee Stance F2.
