So far, Tekken 8 is a big improvement over 7 in offline modes. Arcade mode has 8 fights (tekken 7 only has 5 fights in arcade mode) and 5 fights in each character episode (with only 1 fight in each character episode like you mentioned). Also has a great story mode and another campaign called Arcade Quest mode. Also has music from all tekken games as well. I Like to see Bandi/Namco to re-release and/or remaster classic tekken games in the future or maybe release Arcade history mode as an dlc for tekken 8 with arcade ports of first 6 tekken games just like they did with Tekken 5 when it had arcade ports of tekken 1,2, and 3.

Dude, this is just amazing. I thought you were a big channel when I saw the video on reddit, but it amazes me that you did it at such a level. Seriously, my respect to you for this video. I also started with Tekken 3 and then when I grew up I already touched all the games in the series. For me, tekken is a very important franchise of games and unlike street fighter and mk who passed me by, I love tekken because he helped me in my journey of becoming a fighter in mma then as a coach. I play above average, but I know the subtleties of each part because I play with pro players regularly and learn many features of the series from them. Regarding the games, I will say that I agree with you in principle, but not in several points. As for the fact that t4 is the worst in the series, I do not agree because I have never seen such a statement in the community, but on the contrary, that this was a new stage of tekken in gameplay. T5 is the best opening in the series because it has everything that we love tekken for, but for me personally, t6 opening is more like because it tells the whole story as it was before.

But I have a separate conversation with tekken 7, as in principle, some fans now have. This is probably the least favorite tekken for me, which I almost hate. It's a long story to tell because the appearance of the t7 was quite problematic, but I'll shorten most of it. The most important reason for my dislike of t7 is that the game is as cheap as possible and lazily assembled from tag 2 because of this, it is the most empty tekken of all. Everyone is now complaining about mk1 that apart from the plot and online there is nothing there, so the same can be said about t7. There is no tekken force, there is no tekken ball, and the most important passage of the arcade does not make sense because the endings are obtained in a different way. And these endings themselves are garbage because all of them are not canon except for a couple and are made on the game engine. The graphics of the game are as ugly and cheap as possible and, unlike the previous parts, looks like an ominous valley and if you don't believe it, then compare t7 with t8 or t6 or tag 2 and you will see the whole problem. And I know why this is so, all because tag 2 failed to sell due to poor marketing and there was no money left for a new part, and therefore almost all the characters from tag 2 were transferred to t7 unchanged. And this is all just a small part of the problems of t7 here you can talk about the gameplay and the problem of 2d characters in 3d, but I explained the essence

I suck at fighting games period lol Tekken 3 got me into fighting games and I did actually love Killer Inctinct before Tekken 3 so I've been playing them for for almost 30 years but I still suck at them lol I own over 80 fighting games and that's only the physical ones. Tekken lore is the dumbest shit ever. The movie got it wrong, too.. It's literally a story about a kid with daddy issues. From there, springboard into all your hypest ideas cause i guarantee it'll make more sense than this pile of random. Ignore the lore, just envision it as a dad vs. Kid in a generational divide..with generational scars...
