I don't see the problem with that. Massively Arc centric characters are not a bad thing at least not in my book so I have never felt the reasoning behind a diminishing character relevance to be unsatisfying. I don't want everyone to be a part of the crew nor do I want them to ALWAYS come back to play a major role, if that were to happen we would be well over 20 strawhats by now or other arc centric characters wouldn't get their turn. But that's just me

Quick correction in regards to Bonney going with the crew to see Saul. The panel where we see Bonney with Robin as Luffy talks about needing to thank Saul for helping Robin, that takes place after the group has already left for Saul. You can tell because the panel before with Gerd rowing the ship, we see Robin sitting on Gerds Knee, holding Bonney in her lap.

Another way that Bonney could help out in this arc is by applying her age powers to the older warriors on Elbaf, allowing them to partake in the major battles at their best, even if it's just a brief moment. As for whether or not Kuma can return to the way he was before Saturn got involved, I can sum up my view by paraphrasing some dialogue from a game I played and watched videos about years ago. After everything that happened, I don't know if his life will ever be the same again. But that doesn't mean it can't be good again. Even if Bonney, Lilith, and every other relevant ally they have can figure out how to release Kuma from the damage done to his mind, it still won't undo what all of them went through. The battles. The hardships. The thoughts. The character development. All of it still happened, and nothing established in the story can undo it.

I know others are wanting Yamto, Lilth or Carrot but personally I want Bonney as a SH more. For one thing her story ties more into the SHs(mainly Luffys but he is the main charcter so the one that matters most) than the others. Also just saying her crew being pretty much all randoms who don't have much devolpment I think is a big sign pointing in that Oda didn't really want anything holding her back from joining. They mainly joined her for Kuma's sake anyways so this could be a good way of her finally finding a group that she is friends with on her own. Maybe I am wrong but its what I would want personally. I really think Bonney is likely to "join the crew" in the same regard that Shanks and Buggy were on Roger's crew-largely because of the relationships she seems to be growing, her power in relation to Luffy's, and the importance of her dream being to explore the world. My theory is that Lilith might stay on Elbaph to repair/heal Kuma, to catch up with them later (during the final war). But it just feels wrong to me for her to end up stuck in a single place, even if it is waiting for her. Also, as others note, Bonney is with Robin still as the crew is going off see Saul. Page 9 of the official shonen jump official release, you can see her in Robin's lap in both the second full panel (on Gerd's knee) and very clearly in the third full panel where Luffy is commenting (screaming) on a captain's role, with Bonney's eyes being on Luffy. That being said, Lilith and Bonney are both clearly going to keep being major companions for at least all of Elbaph.That being said, I think it is accurate to say that the only characters who are full, currently active Strawhats are those featured in the second to last panel of the chapter (plus saul).

My other theory is that there is also going to be a crew of "Strawhat Royal Comrades" who take a large action together during the final war, made up of the Princesses and princes (or sort of those group) characters, led by Vivi. This could include Shiratoshi, Rebecca, Momonosuke, Yamato, Bonney, Pudding, all of Sanji's siblings, etc. it could just of wild. However, of that group I think that there are basically three key characters who are quasi-crew members already-that being Vivi (who's basically crew emeritus), Yamato (who is the only character who has been stated to want to join and been expected to join by the crew) and Bonney. My suspicion here is that Yamato is supposed to be a direct analog for Oden on Roger's crew, Vivi is basically going to act to Luffy as Lili did to Joyboy, and Bonney is going to be an analog for the apprentice role similar to Shanks and Buggy on Roger's crew. As far as I'm concerned, Vivi and Yamato are already official, they're just doing their side quests, much like Jinbei did before officially joining. Bonney is really the one I'm backing though, because of the importance of found family, inheritance, and the next generation in the story as a whole.The last thing Kuma would want for her is for her to be stuck in one place caring for him or waiting for him to get better.

Tekking you've overlooked a lot of what Vegapunk actually revealed when he talked about DFs because he actually in a single sentence explained exactly how they work. Vegapunk: "Those with powers exist in different dimensions dreamed up by someone else before them." (I believe that's from the fan translation, but Ohara said that this time around that the fan translation actually is far more accurate to what was said in Japanese.) Basically what Vegapunk is saying is that the Devil Fruit once eaten creates a new miniature dimension that the DF users exists within that has different rules for how reality functions and therefore allows them to do the things they can do. If you take this and add into the mix what we already know about Awakenings, we also get the explanation for how they work too. The Awakening essentially grants the DF user more complete control of their DF including the ability to alter the dimension they exist within. 1) By expanding that dimension you can affect the environment around you like how Doflamingo, Katakuri, and Luffy can do. 2) By moving the dimension to affect objects or living beings, you can do things like how Law put his Room into his sword, Kid made Big Mom into a magnet, or how Luffy was able to have his DF rubberize the lightning bolt he grabbed and also could rubberize Kaido. 3) By gaining a much greater control of the DF itself, Zoan users can access the Monster Point form like Chopper and Jailer Beasts or additional forms like Chopper was able to achieve with his Rumble Ball and later on even without it and I'd even say that Rob Lucci did the same with the form we saw him take since it was a newer form different from what we'd seen of him previously, but also not like that of Monster Point. 4) By applying the properties of their Logia Fruits to the weather around them, an Awakened Logia user can permanently change the weather of the environment they are within and theoretically they could probably also make it a temporary effect if they wanted because I feel like that just logically makes sense that they could do that too.

An idea that supports your time disorientatiom idea from the warning could be how Mother Caramel using Elbaf as a home for raising children for the government - the faster time passes, the more quickly she can sell off the children and do it again, gaining even more money. I believe that at least partially Kuma already got his memories back and it will progress, with caveat being that because his cybernetic body is kind of advanced tech it will be impossible for a while to repair it so he will stay a vegetable for while, at least till Lilith or whoever will be able to setup new lab. ...Except he still has Paw-Paw fruit so even as nearly immobile cripple he can do some cool stuff. Robin's DF most definitely. There are tons of ways to use it for both dumb reasons and practical reasons too and also for heroic or villainous reasons as well. For dumb shit like pranking people, you could obviously do stuff like tapping people on the shoulder so they turn around and nobody is there. You could put a mouths to speak to them and they look around and nobody is there. Stuff like that. Not sure I'd use it the following way, but if being pervy is being dumb with it, you can always have eyes appear on the ground below people to look up skirts or use hands to flip them up.

Bonney can access possible futures and alternate timelines, like we see when she uses it on Luffy, Chopper, and herself. If she can do this, Bonney might use it to alter Kuma to a timeline where he wasn't taken into slavery, but the cost could be that while in this altered form Kuma won't remember that Bonney is his daughter since in that AU he wouldn't have met Ginny and Ivankov. The timing is limited so it might just be a onetime thing, like maybe Kuma is dying and Bonney just wants to give her father a moment of happiness in the only way she can give it. Maybe there is a way to make the affect longer lasting, since Lilith is with them maybe there is a way, or because of the memory and humanity wipe maybe Bonney's powers would be more affective on a "blank slate" than living beings who have memories and personalities.

I think it's perfectly okay for bonney, Kuma and Lilth to play a wano carrot like role in elpaf, gives room for others to shine(P.S Lilith is definitely gonna play a bigger role in the grand scheme of things at some point in the story so not remotely worried about her relevance). I just wouldn't want a redudandcy of importance for characters especially bonney and Kuma who seemingly have zero to no connection to our current location. But Oda could make it work, Elpaf is exciting so I am not completely shutting off any idea.
