The theme of Zoro being earth (green hair!) and sanji being the sky makes so much sense, as Zoro’s ambition and demeanor is so grounded. Has an ambitious but tangible goal, disciplined, calm, hardworking, pretty low energy and grounded when not fighting. Where as sanji, though he’s mature and strong too, has a much more whimsical dream (the all blue) and demeanor. Super polite and proper, always doing the most for women, etc. Again he’s a realistic guy and not ridiculous at all but def has his “head in the clouds” so to speak more than Zoro

On the topic of Roger having any form of connection to Luffy, Luffy's hat is the one Roger gave to Shanks, who then gave it to Luffy. That is the connection.

if you think about it, zoro has wado ichimonji, which is the only other zword made by kozoboro and he took it with him to the east and zoro has it. Tenguyama even pointed that out so they could have talked to zoro

1:10 reminds me of the German dub for the Zoro vs. Mihawk fight. In German, when Mihawk pulls out his tiny knife, he doesn't say "I'm no beast who goes all out when hunting a rabbit" like in Japanese but rather "I don't need more for an amateur like you, a toothpick would do the job". So I think just based on armament haki (and probably conquerors), you could use any sticky or sharp object to decimate most people in the OP world.

here's an idea; Zoro's dad was killed by pirates, Mihawk is a pirate (or at least a wanted man who is a swordsmen) we could ASSUME arashi was a swordsmen, could it be possible that arashi was killed by Mihawk? (It would also be a funny pun on oda's part to name the chapter mihawk-the man who killed zoro's dad-made his debut appearance in after zoro's dad)

I saw a fanart by a guy on Deviant Art (The guy does alot of One piece fan art, and it looks very similiar to Oda's style) and in one of his drawings, he drew Ryuma with the Samurai Ghandi dude, both cleaning their weapons (Ryuma Shuusui and Ghandi Shodai Kitetsu respectively) and the name he put for that drawing was "Ryuma's rival" Don't know what this has to do, but I really liked that guy's depiction of Ghandi

They wouldn’t even be 3rd cousins maybe not even 4th cousins Kozaburos family branch could still have been a definitively separate branch family even in Ryumas time, only having a distant ancestor to the point of only sharing the family name by this time and not considered blood related anymore for a couple or few generations So I’d say your in the clear. You want to make a story of Zoro and Tashigi needing to revive the Shimotsuki family back, go ahead. That’s one of the reasons for having branch families back in old Japan to help keep the name and bloodline going. By Wano/ Feudal Japan standards this would probably be one of the first ideas they’d have. So yeah it would probably be Tashigi as the first option, then second is Hyori if either of them refused the idea. Same would’ve gone for Kuina if she was still alive.

definitely think that Terra is going to be important- maybe not by herself but maybe being a disgraced descendant of Vira's royalty. Mainly because I feel like since Oda name-dropped Vira as a potentia location of the last of the Road Poneglyphs that it would be likely that we will learn more about it. And since Wano- which felt like Zoro's personal arc- right until it became about the Wano residents and Luffy's training- was a dud; we might do it properly in Vira. I feel like it'll be a medieval knight theme as we haven't done that yet.

A normal father in Japan is not always away doing. That's the stereotype of Japan 50 years ago. A normal japanese father comes home around 18::00 and spends time with family. There is always a holiday once a week and spend time with family. I've never seen a neglected father around me. Only a small percentage of elite salaryman fathers in tokyo have no time. But it's same to other country's elite company father. Don't believe the exaggerated Western news and youtuber. they make it dramatic for the number of views. Average Japanese fathers love their children and want to spend time with them. No different from fathers in other countries

If zoros lineage was noticed by a character in wano they may have simply elected not to tell him, seeing him as a member of the strawhat pirates and a hero of the liberation army, they may have chosen not to try and distract him from the path he is already walking.

I like to imagine just that with the big battle and the very small window post battle that the SH were there, that none of the old timers had the time or mental energy to connect the dots. I have been waching Yuderon's videos for a while and the impression I have is that: 1- Oda has a set in stone story line at the back ground 2- He has a lot of temathic puns he uses in his chapters 3- some puns are structural to his hard storyline, some are not So it is like he has a plan but also has a random number generator to his work. Like, sometimes characters do weird things just because that chapter's number has a pun related meaning - and usually it doesn't have any importance to the main storyline, it is just there for commedy, but sometimes they are a key informaiton to the way Oda foreshadows stuff. TL;DR: Oda is pretty insane.

Instead of his father, Mihawk could be Zoro’s uncle if there’s any blood relation. To add a darker twist, not only could he be Zoro’s uncle, he could be the pirate who killed his father. As for the reason why, it could range from a dispute between them or even following the will of his sword to become a black blade. It may be something Mihawk may have regrets over and could be one of the reasons he agreed to train Zoro.

It is definitely interesting that Zoro is somewhat of a prince. He has, imo, been shown to care a lot about the citizens of Wano, and while you can't necessarily lay it out in a way where Zoro would like to be a Daimyo - He DOES have Conqueror's Haki, and the princess of Wano is thirsty for him. This kind of adds to the dichotomy between Zoro and Sanji, as well. Sanji is a prince/heir who does not want to have anything to do with that legacy, whereas Zoro is not a prince/heir (technically he is, if anybody knew of his connection which is unlikely) but would most certainly fall into the role pretty well after Wano and these latest revelations.

When Mihawk fought Zoro for the first time and Zoro used Santouryuu Ougi (Three Swords Style Secert), Mihawk was surprised. I think Mihawk was surprised, not because he was scared by the move but because he has heard of a similar secert style that is from Wano. Mihawk had already stabbed him with his small sword and Zoro mentioned the vast gap in skill so Mihawk had no reason to be scared by any of Zoros moves. Mihawk also mentioned Zoros, willingness to die instead of breaking his pride, which from Wano is a common trait among all swordsman. So I think Mihawk knew that Zoro was from Wano and thats why he chose to not kill him and to train him later. I think Mihawk has ties to Wano that most likely tie him to Zoro. Maybe not blood related but maybe Mihawk took on a Will from someone related to Zoro's family. Lets look at what information we have been given before jumping to the conclusion that Mihawk is Zoro's pappy Arashi. Zoros dad is said to have been killed by a pirate. Maybe when Mihawk was younger he encountered Arashi and they had a really tough battle that resulted in Mihawk defeating him. Mihawk first meeting Zoro remembered the name Roronoa and his hard fought battle and the resemblance to Arashi. What could kick off Zoro and Mihawks final battle for the strongest swordsman title could be Mihawk telling Zoro he was the one to kill his father, so Zoro would have true killing intent in their duel. Shit we could even predict that it was Arashi who held the title of Strongest Swordsman previously just to make it more interesting.

Alright so here's something interesting Pluton is the ancient weapon of the earth. It's on Wano, which Zoro is directly connected to. Jimbei's connection with Poseidon is pretty obvious and if Sanji does really have Lunarian lineage factor that would mean he is connected to the red line, where Ouranos is commonly believed to be held my Imu. (Also, Ouranos was the god of the sky of course) Could this mean there is one more ancient weapon representing the sun? Perhaps the sun god fruit itself is that weapon, perhaps not.

Terra from earth is written with 2 RR Terra... but then again the information in the sbs is in japanese so the 2nd R would be lost anyway so when translated it is still possible that it was supposed to be written with either double or single R...
