I’ve played fifa since 98, and this year was the final nail in the coffin for me, after fifa 20 I didn’t think it could get any worse, then they released 21 🙄

@@SolusFather yeah I’m getting old 😂 almost 29 now, played fifa 98 on the PlayStation 1 and loved the games since, but since 19, they’ve just got worse every year, and it’s not even like I’m bad player, I finish 23-25 wins in weekend league, but even when you win there is no enjoyment anymore, the games in a bad state unfortunately

Switching barely works in this game, if your dm is behind the ball you can’t switch to him, you have to defend with your center backs

switching and pressing is good and is what I use but it needs concentration and watching the movements of the opponents because just a slight miss is a very big intense mistake

2:03 If tried to close that passing lane, my player would’ve just looked at the ball rolling in front of him... Reading passes are dead on this game, the ball somehow always goes around ur players.

No, its because he is switching less but accurate. If you switch all the time you pull your players out of position. Trust me im a elite 1 player. It doesn‘t mean that you shouldn‘t switch a lot. You have to learn to switch with a low error rate.

My players are usually not close enough to the opponent to effectively press so I end up chasing one guy and once he gets past my defender I'm f'd. what am I doing wrong?? I use balanced defense for everything

If you try to play like this and don't win the ball you'll get slaughtered. I like aggressive players because they always leave themselves open eventually.

True but that is the risk you are willing to take. It’s like every style of play it has its positives and it’s negatives it’s up to the player to learn their style well so that it works for them

@@dragonitexluckas the game is so broke the meta has changed so many times since its release. Its back to spamming trough balls again so I couldn't give a fuck. All my point was these type of tactics only work if your as good as teks at closing ppl down and closing ppl down successfully is extremely difficult and it's the perfect way for the opposing player to consistently spam through balls.

What a game though, my god, look at the example the first minute of the video. You run at him with Vieira because YOU are literally letting your AI mark every player on his team, this tactic is just so bad and doesn't make you a better fifa player, it only shows how flawed this game is because you are doing nothing to even earn to have that press right after you lose the ball. There is your skillgap people, letting the AI do the work, nice job guys

When the opponent started to pressing, it is much easier for me to score and beat them. Always composed and move the ball in a safe passing lanes. Simple 😎

Basically you have to learn to predict what your opponent is planning to do and like cut passing while pressing the player on the ball and try to get the ball back in there half coz obviously defenders and CDM are not good at controlling the ball and dribbling to turn around and find other players so you have time to press with your strikers and midfielders to get the ball back in there half and that will be deadly for your opponent

And pressing is a very effective tactic this year coz trying to cut passes is not rewarding in this guy since most of the time the ball will gonna skip your player so pressing is a good way to get the ball back even if you failed to get the ball back after pressing in there half it is not end of the world you would still have 2 midfielders and 4 defenders basically to defend with and if you noticed your opponent is in a tough position you can switch it to "Team Press" with the buttons and your player will basically man mark each of the nearby players and he will be stuck and you can press and get the ball back

And obviously he is using a high end team but with players that most people use it might not be as effective as his players but it is still a great tactic to use instead of going back and holding and trying to cut passing lanes

I’ve noticed when I try to mark the passing lanes it just skips my player so I will definitely try to just press from upfront. Did he say which is the best pressing tactic to use ingame for example press after possession loss or pressure on heavy touch etc?

@@kadenite3317 No he didn't but im a gold 1 player and i found Harry custom tactics working amazingly for me Harry is using a 4-3-1-2 with 3 CM and he uses long ball and pressure after position loss it is really amazing to get that press in your opponent half with that formation you can check the video
