Tekno et48 2.0 finished build and compare to et48.3

Awesome build 👍i built the MT.410 with all the M2C upgrades and I put the M2C wide Truggy chassis on it so they call it the MT.48 . I love the green paint it came out very nice 👍 . Team Tekno for the win 💯💪✌️👊

The et48 is my favorite car in my garage. I have built 3 Tekno rc’s started with the et48.3 then the sct410 which I sold sadly then a few months back finished my mt410. I was so happy when they started coming out with the “bruggy” bodies for the et48 because I always hated the stock body and other options. I wish I would have gotten the et48.32.0 instead of the mt410 but maybe in a few years I’ll try my hand at a 4th Tekno rc. I have really been wanting to try building a nitro rc but I usually only really like using nitro onroad because it is less maintenance. I’m thinking the Kyusho inferno gt for my first nitro 1/8

My dad and I used to both race the older tekno electric truggy. Kinda looking at getting back into it, going with a tekno is the easy choice since that's what we had, but man, I honestly really dont like the new body. Is the new version a lot better than the older one? I think my old tekno truggy was also lime green though, so you've got good taste!

Love the green , especially on the 2.0! I wonder, how are the xr8 SCT esc's holding up in those truggys? Most truggys run on xr8+ or other beefy 150A+ esc's. What pinion are you running btw?

The ESC‘s I working great 👍🏽 and as far as pinion I believe we’re running 15 to Pinion

I know this is 2 years old but how did you get that servo mounted in there with the plug on the end that sticks out so far? I have the protech 170TBL and having trouble getting it to go in the mount with the plug in wire.

If I can remember correctly, I think I had a Dremel a hole in the servo mount so that wire could fit

The old body is like a parachute in the air. The new one going below the front shock tower helps eliminate that I'm guessing

I know I worry about that too, especially for bashing. They say u can use the old body but i like the new one

If I had a choice between picking up this Tekno or a Kraton 6S, which on should I go for. I know the Arrma is built well but the Tekno kit also looks like it’s well built.

Hi Thanks for the video. Did you have any problems fitting that Tekin 4038 with a longer can into the chassis? Which Hobbywing ESC is that? I plan to use the Tekin 4038 T8 2000kv with a HW XR8 Plus ESC but Mark Sant Maria says it won't fit together in one of his videos. Do you have any problems with overheating the motor or ESC since you went with a 2250? Which size pinion did you go with? Thanks
