This is a perfect example of coming together. These people tried to destroy out country, they were unsuccessful. This only united us more and created a stronger country. My heart goes out to all of those who lost their life during this shameful attack. God Bless! R.I.P September 11, 2001. This day will never be forgotten.

I have an American flag on my car and have had my tires slashed, car spray painted, broken windows and more. But what also happened to the greatest song of this country being the national anthem being about self promotion and dragging out the song and so on. A lot of people ask us where our patriotism has gone over the years, and I have a very simple answer: We have been at war in some form or fashion for 94% of our existence as a nation. For the first (or second, depending on who you ask) we no longer have an enemy who can match us militarily. So therefore, our enemy has become our brothers and sisters.

Ah. Back when we were still willing and ready to fight for our freedoms... back when we loved this country, valued our military and all they've done for us, back when we honored the flag for all it stands for, back when we fellow Americans loved each other for who we were - never thinking twice about defining factors, colors, religions, political parties and more. Back when America was strong and did not think twice about making sure the whole world knew we stood united as one.
