Teldrassil and the music is the peak of WoW for me. I was never a true endgame player, just a casual noob, and the moment I left Teldrassil and Darkshore, the more I drifted, I missed this zone. Always and forever. Nothing will feel better than walking into Darnassuss.

Perhaps overly sentimental for many of you, but this made me tear up. I grew up playing World of Warcraft from the age of thirteen in 2006. My first character was a Night Elf. Playing WoW and experiencing Teldrassil in particular quite literally changed the course of my life. I became an ecologist and a writer on Earth-centred sacrality because of this zone. I even wrote an article for a journal about how WoW changed my life and sent it to Jason Hayes and John Staats. I have my suspicions and worries about AI, but this is incredible. This gave me a similar feeling as when the Stormwind VR gryphon tour came out in 2016. It's AI's interpretation of Teldrassil, which differs in some places from my own imaginings, but it's great nonetheless. Thank you for making this. (Edit: I edited this comment. I almost cried. Teldrassil will forever hold a special place in my heart. You captured the feel and essence of the zone perfectly. I remember loving the starting zone of Shadowglenn but when I stepped into Teldrassil proper, my jaw hit the floor. I spent hours just exploring. You just brought back all those memories. Thanks.

If WoW looked like that, we'd all need a Geforce 5090 to render full ray-mapping (or whatever it's called) and at least 64-126GB's of RAM, to run this at 20-30FPS :) But - yes - it'd be worth it. If there's ever a WoW 2, I hope they just use Unreal Engine or something like that.

My first year of playing WoW was as a Night Elf. Then I switched to Horde and called Durotar my home, to this day 20 years later. Yet… hearing the music of the night elf starting zone gives me such beautiful memories, the voice of the NPCs giving you your very first quests… words can’t describe the feeling. Wow. Telledrasil is one of my favorite zones in the game. My favorite race is night elf. This detailed rendering looks incredible. Wow! It looks like Lothlorian from the Lord of the Rings movies except a lot more purple. That is cool. I just realized something. Maybe Trade is the Galadriel of WOW.
