My observation on Samsung Note 10+: If VoLTE is enabled, at the end of an average day, my battery level is around 30%. If VoLTE is disabled, at the end of an average day I still have battery level of 50-60%. It seems like VoLTE uses more battery.

Updated Samsung Galaxy S8 and I lost Android Auto connection in my car, wife did not. Went to car dealer and they could not solve problem and suggested I go to our carrier Sprint. Sprint checked phone and found VoLTE turned on. Turned it off and Android Auto works. I asked why wife's works and the answer was the update doesn't always turn it on.
