It’s a personal choice..the state shouldn’t be involved unless there was a case of wrongful diagnosis or actual coercions 🤔🤔

The bill before parliament is asking the state to get involved. It's asking the state to provide the resources and to facilitate the process.

I love how she uses the outlier example of a person taking 130 hours to die after taking the drugs as being an argument against the practice, while she's effectively arguing that these deeply-suffering people should take THOUSANDS of hours to do so instead. Nobody is arguing for a weakening of *other* standards of care and support. We're only arguing for the right of an individual to make their own choice to end their life in a humane way. Instead of railing against the right to die, why not put those efforts into all the other support systems?

ASSISTING LIVING more help from the NHS with Hospices dignity with dying would not go a miss , no to legalised murder .
