hes new, at leaast to the creator scene, i think this guy is even above Alois in terms of educational content, if he gets an editor thats just as good, and just shoves out content, i can see him being in the same tier as him as a content creator.

My goal this year is Diamond (Hit Emerald last season). I demoted to Plat II (sadge). I do notice that I always focus on my lane a lot and pay not as much attention to the impact I can have on the map with the champs I play, so this guide helps as a good reminder of what I can/should do.

have you thought about making a champion tierlist for learning toplane fundamentals? for example garen might be a great low elo champion but non-interactive scaling and free disengage with phase rush might not be the best way to learn how toplane works. i can imagine jax being much better to learn all kinds of different toplane aspects.

@@bigsmoke4592 Coach Curtis often says that champion mastery is far more important than “fundamentals.” That is to say, you need to learn how your champion approaches the top lane, what their win condition is, and of course being able to pilot them effectively. It doesn’t particularly matter if garen has these tricks that other top laners don’t, because the same is true of all champs. TL;DR chippy’s one tricking tier list is exactly what you are asking for.

@@smexypapayas you couldn't possible be more wrong. great one trick champions like irelia and yasuo are playing their completely own game. also coach curtis is just one dude who's going through a phase. it happens, 90% of high level players and coaches will agree that fundamentals are real and important to learn.

@@bigsmoke4592 fundamentals being real and important are not the same as being the biggest return on investment. Knowing how to abuse your champion’s strengths will be more impactful than trying to have perfect wave management (as an example). Now, that isn’t to say that fundamentals aren’t part of the learning process, but these aspects get tinted and colored through your champion’s lens. e.g. Quinn and teemo are both ranged champs that like to shove in the wave, but for very different reasons.
