God bless our men!!!!!!!!! I love y’all black men!!!!!!!!!! I see y’all and acknowledge ya’ll !!!!! Great sermon and panel discussion!!!!!! Our men deal with so much daily and carry so much trauma!! I salute the men that are doing the healing work and that are allowing themselves to be vulnerable!! I salute the women who notice the trauma and don’t use it against our men!! We are all healing individuals, and there’s so much power in the results we can produce when we are aware of what needs to be addressed in us and in others!! Communication and perception is everything!!

How about allowing our men to be .. loving your husband in silence is so powerful for him. When you can be in the same room and have silence and be comfortable and completely allow him to be not have to think talk or do anything just his presence should be enough at time!!! It didn’t know how to genuinely live and appreciate a man until I started reading the Bible !!

May GOD continue to build and or rebuild our men into being GREAT MEN in all that they do. Allow those that aren’t present to become present for their children, to teach and to raise them in the way you shall have them to go. Create in them as the head in households and not the borrower, lead them in a direction as you would have them to lead. Allow us to appreciate them more as men when they’re doing the best that they can. Provide what’s needed in them to become better fathers 🙏🙏🙏

I am a 69 yo woman. My dad died at age 95 in 2014. He was raised in a small, segregated southern town. He had to step off the sidewalk if whites were walking. He was called "boy" when he reached manhood. He couldn't make eye contact with whites without permission. The list goes on and on. My dad had two sons and it was difficult for him to teach them how to become assertive men. My brothers would often become angry with dad 's subservient nature. However dad's belief system was deep rooted. I say all of that to say that some black men in particular are dealing with generational psychological trauma as it relates to himself and the world around him. We shouldn't dwell on the past, but we can't negate the fact that American slavery. Jim Crow, etc. were evil institutions, regardless of how history tries to sugar coat it. This panel dicussion was brilliant.

Jesus! God, thank You for our men. Help me to be more gracious, forgiving, respectful, loving. God, remind me to pray for the men in my life. Do a Mark 5 work in them. Heal and bind up their wounds. Free them from their secret pain and broken hearts. Generational curses are broken. Hallelujah! Help me to be the helper that You created me to be. Help me to be the woman of God that they need me to be. Lord, help me to trust You with the men in my life. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen

My father is not a man of many words but his silence doesn't mean he doesn't car. 🤦🏾♀️ I hate it like that seeing I need to hear it and see it and feel it.
