Being a good leader first starts with leading yourself. If you can’t lead yourself, if you enjoy blaming women, if you don’t know who you are, then your influence will be weak and no woman can submit to the your mission. Stay Focused!

“Real” grown men know that healing is needed. Boys that call themselves men don’t think there’s anything wrong with what they’re doing, saying, or how they’re living. Grown folks know that change and growth happens and is necessary. Folks who call themselves grown don’t care for either to occur. I don’t watch y’all regularly (I just came upon it while I was scrolling), but this particular episode was a good one. I have seen Pastor Darius Daniels; he’s a really good Pastor, and he’s wise. Good show, guys!!

Yes, family but that's not our only purpose. We are given a purpose inside the family and many times outside the family. Think Proverbs 31... The woman mentioned in Proverbs 31 is not actually one woman but what the writer was summing up for a person of wisdom to look like. We are to help procreate our children and then rear them in the right direction and maintain the structure for them to become who God created them to be. Then as you continue to read the proverb she had a business or other purpose outside of her family but it all was to edify her community and edify & enrich her family...just saying to be a little more specific for those who are offended by a woman's purpose is her family statement. We can go even further to say it should align with her spouses mission and if he's hearing from and walking with God you'll have peace around all these things. This will take time, wisdom, mentorship, and discipleship to achieve. 😊 Still on my journey as a Proverbs 31 woman...😊😅

Consistency is so important. That was the first thing I noticed about my husband. He's the most consistent man I know till date, I never have to guess, He's so true in who he says he is and I can trust that with my eyes close. Also his confidence, oh chile, His confidence shocked me the first time I met him, not pride or arrogance cuz some get that confuse but he just had the surety of himself and the man that he is and wanna gonna be to me.

You all have invited comments so this is my opinion: Two Things... First...I'd like to encourage you all to match the conversational integrity and/or character of your guest. Pastor Daniels is dope, we know what he stands for and what he represents. That being said because he was respectful to accept your invite and respect your audience and platform...it would've been dope to see you all grant him that same courtesy with your language. Meaning, granting him the honor and respect of his Age, his Character, his Conversation, and his office of position. Be disciplined enough to Code switch or Match that energy. There is No Loss of authenticity nor loss of genuineness in doing that. Malcolm X was taught that people curse or use profanity because their vocabulary is limited BUT, that not the case with the Hardly Initiated Host... You all are WELL read! Secondly...I agreed with 98% of Pastor's answers, my disagreement comes with his initial answer to Purpose... As a Christian myself, Biblically a Man's purpose to work and build things that have dual utility all in one... those things or that one thing that he builds is to bring Worship to GOD while bringing Prosperity to his own House...period. That is a Very Heavy mandate, thus why over time a lot of men have abandoned it due to lack of examples, education, and affirmation thus they desire to stay children in adult bodies. But, we can't escape it...Men are created and called to carry Heavy things...and It's only when men embrace that, That Life for a Man becomes extremely enjoyable. There's so much freedom in that! 1 Corinthians 13:11 And Biblically, a woman's purpose is Family and there is so much Beauty, Power, Opportunity, Work, Growth, Prosperity, and Fulfillment in that work of Purpose. There's so much freedom in that! But, these modern times and single motherhood have tainted and or even poisoned the well. This is why the Bible says a virtuous Woman is challenging to find because most "aren't that" although some will put in the work to "become that" while extremely very few are "already that." Thus, their price is far above Rubies Proverbs 31:10 #My2Cents

Thank you. Your second point is huge and necessary. Part of the reason marriage is failing is because of elevating “who am I individually” over what God intended for men and women in marriage. And when marriages fail, church fails. I also think this is one of the reason men don’t do church because pastors don’t make it clear what men do and what women do in marriage.
@fefemarks315
@fefemarks315 Жыл бұрын
Classic example of A-trak thinking in the age of streaming. It's really difficult for some men to accept virtuous women, just like the Proverbs 31 woman, can also be very successful, business women. Women - single and married - literally supported Jesus and the disciples. Women financially contributed! (Luke 8:3) They had money. And... Jesus allowed women to learn, to ask questions, to follow him, to lead (John 20:17)... this was unprecedented and bothered a few of his disciples! That was not a woman's place! But even Jesus understood every woman wasn't going to find "so much freedom in" the traditional roles. Martha complained when Mary was learning as she slaved in the kitchen. How did Jesus respond? He affirmed the actions of Mary. PD's metaphor of abusing the microphone was spot on! You don't predicate purpose on gender alone - this is another reason why so many women feel unfulfilled when they are told their purpose is solely family. This is archaic y'all. Some men are more nurturing, some women are lionesses. In addition to this, pastors should teach men how to follow - like the disciples. Men do not just lead. Teach men how to be submissive - as scripture instructs every follower of Christ - one to another. Create whole human beings that know how to lead and submit. Lion and lamb. Another reason this binary model is faulty is because all women won't get married or desire to get married, all won't have children or can even have children... what is the role of the single, child-free woman? Who is the head of her house? (Remember, Paul said singleness is a gift.) Finally, Let's be clear, sIngle motherhood is absent fatherhood. Is this the attitude you shepherd single mothers? Do you prefer women leave children on the streets? PD is truly a treasure. This comment that encapsulates views I hear far too often from fundamentalist makes me appreciate him so much more. New supporter for sure.

I agreed with both of your points. I think with our context you might not realize your speaking about purpose in general for genders which apply to everyone and Pastor Daniels is focusing the unique purpose of the individual. As Christian’s, male/female we have things were supposed to do and as individuals with unique God given talents we have unique purpose to fulfill as well.

So happy to see PD dropping his knowledge. When I attend church service, it is disproportionately female. PD understands that he has work to do outside of the church to reach the male audience. Despite all the propaganda we repeatedly see, I desire a black man who is a sound leader that will steward the household. However, one without character cannot expect another with discernment to follow. Having PD as my pastor has transformed my life in so many ways! He just gets it!

Oop, Dr. Dharius, what was that last pathway regarding purpose? We have 1. Unique Design 2. Unique Dreams 3. Unique Discontent This podcast is AMAZING. As a single millennial woman who is actively seeking the kingdom of God, practicing celibacy, defining my purpose, and striving for a level of excellence that no one around me has before, it is REFRESHING to know that there are men out here in my generation who care enough about the healing and growth of themselves for their future. I truly had started giving up on finding a man who has these kinds of mindsets as a 20- something but y’all are restoring my faith. Grateful for this legendary platform y’all are building. Praying it reaches everyone it was designed to 💗💗💗

@J'LEN TAYLOR hey I'm speaking from a Christian faith believing perspective, so my expectations may be a bit different. But the fruit that is expected is The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…” Those who are in Christ are distinguished from unbelievers in that they have been gifted with the Holy Spirit, enabling them to bear fruit. I've consistently heard men say they can't help it. It's their nature to "be fruitful and multiple." Misusing scripture because Jesus corrected lustful minds and sent us all a Helper that helps us correct, uproot and manage our own tree aka self. The Holy Spirit is our accountability partner! Amen, be blessed🙏

Biblically that’s is not correct. There is no bible verse that says that. In fact Martha got called out by Jesus for spending her time doing just that. He said the opposite. Proverbs 31 says otherwise. She is a businesswoman and a wife and a mother AND she is a provider according to that chapter, not just the man. And if it is his home, he also needs to take care of HIS home lol. She is not the maid and nanny. The two become 1. So both manage the home. Not just her.

Well I guess I have to thank the algorithm gods for somehow coming across this channel . The first video I saw was with the judge and she is dam smart . I couldn't help but subscribe . I wish every man had your maturity and ideology . I struggle myself daily . There is a difference in culture . In so many ways I have more respect for the black community then I do any other . Seriously it all has to do with fundamentals . Not to be cliche but it's the depth , when I say it's more genuinely soulful . To be honest there are times as a white man I get jealous , and it's just the connections . And there have been many times I was ashamed of being white , Caucasian lol , whatever is politically correct today . For some dumb reason I don't know why but I feel compelled to share this ... when I was 18 I was in a relationship with one of the most beautiful real and genuine intelligent and could that girl sing . I'm 55 now and I still remember the sound of her voice . Her name was Gina , she was 16 . I've been engaged twice married and divorced twice to four different women , many in between . I have yet to find the qualities that Gina had . I've been married in love and had my heart broken several times . I just always seemed like there was something missing sort of . In the end it really wasn't either one of our faults it was just do purely to circumstances . Put Halle Berry and Whitney Houston together , you would have Gina . Still listening to you guys talk and trying to write this comment I lose my train of thought lol . I probably screwed up my point . As far as I can remember I was just trying to Simply point out the difference in culture . By the way I also had a girlfriend that was of French descent that was very very tan color . So I'm not trying to come off that way . I've had girlfriends that were as pale as porcelain . I'm going to say this and hope that you can find the humor . At the time of Gina and Ice relationship I had a black albino friend there was another black albino we weren't really friends basically we worked at the same place . My buddy Fred was cool . The other guy wasn't too keen on mine and Gina's relationship . I just always thought that was a little funny lol . All of this happened when I lived in Houston and was working with the Lighthouse for the Blind because Gina and I were both legally blind there were people that were deaf partially deaf totally blind partly blind and with other disability issues . 😅 go figure . I have many black friends and yes to be honest some of them do refer to me as their "N"!? . And actually that gives me warm fuzzies . To me that just means it's not about color and at the same time it is . At the same token it just boils down to being accepted as a brother ! As in family like a brother , cousin . Family is not always about blood , it's about relationship and a bond empathy and appreciation for one another . I still don't know if I relayed what I started out to . I think by now I've even confused myself . My apologies for being such long-winded . ✌❤🙏'z ...

I had both parents in the home and my father was very much a leader. But I still wish I had this explained to me before I got married. I’m 11 years in and I’ve learned more in the last few years between KS and this show. Good work Men.

I've loved what value is offered here, even for us women. Glad yall felt conviction to curtail the words, y'all are just as effective without it. But different strokes for different folks. So glad for this space and others who are adding value to our Brothers.❤ Blessings

In a time where everyone with an opinion has a podcast, I'm happy to see a well-intended program like this one, that would invite Dharius Daniels to drop some jewels. I could watch anything he's a part of 👌🏼 Interesting to see how, out of some of his deepest statements, the guys would nitpick the answers they wanna hear. Selective listening lol but I think Dharius did an awesome job of being thorough and unbiased, also steering away from "talking at" women but "talking to" people in general. And as he said, he advises men bc he is a man. His opinion may not seem right to some, but it is well-informed. Perfectly worded for the questions that seem to lean towards creating gender wars.

As a woman I am My own Lane but my husband is the leader and that is important for him to communicate and to stay consistent at his job. I promise to stay consistent to be a leader for him and always know how to communicate., And to sit down and to stay in my own lane the House got better.

I just subscribed to this channel and I really like it! This was a really good video. DR Dharius Daniels is someone I have been listening to for years so that was a Excellent decision to bring him on the show. I SEEN how you guys had Stephan Speaks on your podcast , that was also a great choice, Hopefully in the near future you can get Pastor RC blakes jr and Tony Gaskins next to join the show as well, Love the content and I definitely will be sharing majoring of the videos to others!!!!!
