I only saw this movie once when I was five years old and went to see it in theaters with my brother and Dad, and my mind was kind of blank afterwards, like, "Uh, o-kay. I wasn't expecting it to get THAT serious!" I was just so shocked that they would have WALL-E die And I've never watched it since, cause my mom doesn't like it either. WALL-E was the first animated movie to be nominated as Best Movie, losing out to Slumdog Millionaire in 2009 Academy Awards. I guess they were all about a outsider for a win to stir the pot, But Slumdog Millionaire wasn't in Walle's Class. A terrible travesty. Not a low key movie by any means. It did win Best animated, Best original score, Best screenplay, and Best sound mixing.
