ugh... took me a while to figure out what i was doing wrong and why it wasn't working for me... you say to start on the left and go right but you start on the right and go left. took me 10 minutes to figure this out... works now ... nice tutorial.

I'll take your word for it, but I attempted the trick several times, following the presented instructions in the video. Each time failed, until I noticed Mismag was dealing right to left, and dealt right to left, myself. If left-to-right is successful for you, however, then perfect. ^^

I do top, bottom, top. Deal two piles, use the pile with which the first card was laid down; take the top card, set it down, take the 2nd, set it to the right of the first card, take the 3rd and put it to the far right, then take the last card and lay it down on the far left. Start from left to right. The order will go: King or Queen, Color, Suit and then their card. I REALLY hope this helped as I think it's more fun to do it this way since I forgot the tutorial and somehow figured this out.Lol

This trick works every time if you follow the directions. I've analyzed the math involved in this trick, and it's quite interesting. I might post a video of the theory later to show why this trick works every time. With enough "thumbs up," I might feel more inspired to do so.

There are a bunch of comments describing how to get this trick to work with left right, top bottom etc... But some may be a little hard to follow, I found that if you mirror Mismag's movements it'll work. keep in mind he's left handed so if you're right handed you'll be holding the deck in the other hand. Hope this helped.

So I actually realised a lot of you guys were confused when he split the cards at 2:28. Actually, from our direction, it is the right pile. But from his direction, it is the left pile so this explains why people are having problem at this part. Some did not work because you chose the right pile. In actual, it was the left pile from your direction. Hope this helped

I had the same problem. But I got it to work by dealing the last four cards in reverse direction (middle, out, middle, out instead of out, middle, out, middle). Try it and see if that fixes your problem. However, theoretically, it should work just by following his every step. I don't know why we're the only ones that get it on the opposite lol.

Took me longer than I care to admit, but my Hip Hop take on this is Lean (move top card to top) back (even cards underneath closer to Magician). After the 3 rounds, place Top card (their card) in 4th slot. 2nd card in 1st slot and 3rd card in 2nd slot 4th card is moved to bottom of cards and 5th card goes in 3rd slot. Now you are prepared to reveal card in 4th slot using the method seen here, but kind of easier getting to it.

Cool trick! Not sure why some are saying it doesn't work. It works for me exactly as described. If it's not working for you, then you're definitely doing something wrong.

Attention: to all who attempt this trick, and failed. I attempted this trick roughly 5 times to no avail, and then I realized my error. Mismag says, at 2:27, "left, right, left, right, left, right, left, right". He says: "left, right" BECAUSE he's compensating for the camera, facing us. In actuality, when you perform this trick, you should deal right to left. This corrected the error, for me. :D God bless, be it His will and be safe. Ideally, this will assist others, as well. @jennyrules11 It works every time. You have to in jog/out jog exactly as he does and make sure that the first pack you flip over it the one on your right. The way we see the piles in the video should be from our perspective.

2:30 you have to do RIGHT LEFT RIGHT LEFT to make it work

From our direction, it is the right pile. But from his direction, which is our direction when we do this trick, its the left pile. So its actually the LEFT pile from your direction that is giving the clues to the spectator's card. I also got confused earlier, but after rewatching a few more times, I realised its the direction we are facing that's the problem.

hey. just flip over 1 card then instead of all (for example: when you ask king or queen the bottom card would be a queen -> wrong. just flip over the top card -> king. works to me :)

How do you know what suit it is. What if they choose a club. Than what. Do you still ask if it’s diamond or heart?

@Aidan No. The cards "reveal" that the card is black even before the suit is revealed (if done correctly), so just ask if it is a spade or club

Correct this and it will work.. Here's the error he makes in his video: @2:25 where he tells you to deals to the left first, he actually deals it to his right. So start dealing to the right first (from ur own perspective). :D

Works you can also use 4 4 of a kinds just do the 1 up 1 down thing 4 times not 3 and for the 4th if they say yes the cards go on top if they say no it goes on the bottom

@robertp9753 Thats because he told us what to do, and since he is facing us it is mirrored. If you tell somebody you are facing to step right, they will go to your left. This is the same thing.

I always get this on the opposite. If the spectator picked the King of Hearts, the card that I end up with is the King of Clubs... I tried to go right-left ; right-left, but still the same problem. I also tried going from the inside to the outside at the end or doing top bottom botton instead of top bottom top... still no result. What do I do?
