So many people want a 18 months- 2 year age gap but i'm a huge fan of the 3 year age gap. It was absolutely perfect for us and we didn't struggle at all with the 1-2 transition like so many people in our lives with a shorter age gap.

@@ThePixidust333 Awesome! I know people want a smaller age gap so there kids will be close, but my 9 year old and 6 year old are thick as thieves. They have many interests in common and my first is a very protective older sister. And the fact that my first already went to preschool went the second was born, that she could do already a lot of things on her own, was soooo helpful! Also: when your first meets your second, you are not prepared for how sweet it's going to be.💝

I actually had the exact same due date as you had with Sage when I was pregnant with my second daughter (although my daughter came at 38 weeks, so was born several weeks before Sage in the end)! I just had my first baby 6 weeks ago. I’m 22 and happily married to my partner of 8 years. The only jobs I’ve ever done is subway and daycare. I found out I’m having baby #2 a few weeks ago and I’m honestly so sad!! My first girl is 20months but it saddens me that she won’t be the only one anymore. I’m also miserable with this pregnancy and throw up 4-5x a day so that adds to the guilt. I currently hate pregnancy and wish we would have stuck to one. Nonetheless, seeing your pregnancy announcement makes me so happy that I’m somehow not going through this pregnancy alone. Newborn stage is muscle memory. We just had twins (babies 3 and 4) 2 weeks ago after a 7 year age gap between them and our second, it all came back like we hadn't missed a beat.
