I agree as someone who grew up in an Asian household. 😵‍💫🫨😮‍💨 They have no idea how much they mirror each other. The minute I try to go out, my parents immediately yell at me for avoiding household chores, for not listening to them, for not planning well on how to be a responsible adult, and for not being appreciative. (They will literally complain that I treat the family like a hotel service, just because I move out without explaining myself. And my explanation had better be a solid dissertation).
