What I always liked was how Jason always had the same attire (the shirt and pants) through every movie part 3 onward (until Jason X), just more and more destroyed every movie. Though with the torn jacket in Jason X, it’s kind of accurate to Freddy vs. Jason.

Well, in part 6 it looks slightly updated although that might just be that snazzy new belt and gloves lol, and in 7 he barely wears any clothes since it’s mostly just tatters and most of what we see is black cloth and rotting flesh/bone. In part 8 his clothes are way less damaged and are navy blue and perpetually wet. In 9 his clothes look almost like denim (like Jean material) and I like to pretend FvJ never happened because that was a big middle finger to Jason’s continuity

...Y'know, watching this video makes me wonder exactly how Jason got to be a horror icon haha. The inconsistencies are only half as hilarious as some of the story beats ("Jason is alive...somehow...", "Jason is brought back to life when lightning hits his corpse", "Jason is let loose by a girl with psychic powers", "Jason takes a boat to New York where he's killed by toxic sludge...but don't worry, in the next movie he's alive...again!...?", "His ghost possesses the bodies of other people until he's stabbed by a magic dagger", "He's cryogenically frozen and wakes up in space before being rebuilt with nanotechnology") I've seen them all and they're all fun, but is it... _because_ they're so stupid that we like them?

Actually Jason "drowned" in 1950 or 1949, which is when the prologue of the first Friday the 13th takes place, when the two counselors are killed. Then we jump forward to 1980, when Jason should be around 40 or so
