Soren's blatant racism is actually one of the best handlings of racism in fiction. It doesn't just come from nowhere. Soren wasn't just born one day and went "Goddamn I just fucking hate Laguz". Soren himself is half Beorc half Laguz and the Laguz typically at best feel offput by them because they look like Beorc but the Laguz can sort of sense the Laguz in them and it feels wrong to them. Or at worst absolutely hate them because children between Beorc and Laguz are seen as an affront to the Gods. The isolation and hatred Soren and Stefan experienced they both handled in different ways with Stefan's being the healthier of the two, but given the kind of character Soren is it's hard to hold it against him. This is a man that was afraid IKE, motherfucking IKE was going to hate him if he learned he was half Laguz, and the Laguz hatred of half-Beorc half-Laguz is known to be much worse than the Beorc hatred for them. Soren's seen some shit, and the fear from those experiences played a very strong role in his blatant racism later on. Soren's racism was still wrong, but I am not about to hear any shit thrown at my man over it when he was willing to change when Ike showed him the world can be a better place than the hell he was shit out of it into.

Just because he makes the case for your non-canon ship (I don't think Priam disputes Ike/Soren or Ranulf much bc I see Ike as bi and his existence doesn't rewrite Ike's previous relationships) a bit weaker doesn't mean he's not real. He has some cipher cards and placements in CYL to reinforce that he exists. He's not Mist's son because Mist doesn't leave Tellius and Priam was created as an homage for Ike not his sis. He's not lying for clout since we have no reason to believe he is, unless of course we're that damn passionate about IkeSoren. It can be very safely implied that he is Ike's direct descendant, but this is post-Kaga so very little is 100% certain for things like these. Again, headcanons are headcanons, let's not force them!

The fact is that the only proof that Priam is actually descendant of Ike is Ragnell. And Ragnell is not a "Prf" weapon anymore and everyone with A Sword skill can actually use it. Priam could be either a descendant of Mist or the descendant of an apprentice of Ike. Ike loves fighting and improving himself, he is the kind of guy who would take an apprentice and pass the Ragnell when he becomes worthy.

CORRECTION! I messed up with Kyza's bit. I wasn't fully aware they were trans. I completely missed that when doing research and writing my script. In the Japanese version of Radiant Dawn, Kyza is referred to as a woman. The Tellius book that depicts Ike's feelings for Soren and Ranulf's feelings toward Ike it talks about Kyza having a male body, but a female heart. Sorry I missed that! I meant no disrespect by it. For example, back then, people married not because of love but for political or economic gain. Also, when Churches began to host marriage ceremonies, divorce was completely out of the question until the rise of feminism. Thus, saying marriage is a sacred covenant between man and woman is a specious argument at best especially when the perspectives of marriage never stayed constant. @@Kammyjams It's not valid, it's petty. Disliking Soren for his "racism" is basically admitting to not paying attention to the entire point of him having that trait and the narrative at large. Because Soren is, pointedly, not the only one. You'd have to also hate Lethe, for example, because she's also a racist at the start. Not only that, Soren isn't really racist. His entire hatred for laguz doesn't come from them _being laguz_ but from the way they treated him in Gallia. At least the beorc _noticed_ him, and he has a positive example with Ike. The laguz outright ignored his existence simply because of being a half-breed, one of the most racist things. Soren's feelings are valid considering. There's nothing to be held accountable for since, 1) Ike handles that right in games, 2) Soren grows past it (Skirmir's interest is very much on purpose) and learns to not let his past dictate the present and future. By simplifying it as "racism is wrong no matter what", you're doing a disservice (if not outright ignoring) to the lesson the games were trying to teach. The world isn't black and white.

Coming back to this video in 2022 to preach the good word that Kyza got added to Heroes and is basically confirmed non binary. Retroactively another point on the score card. But the only real proof of Priam bring related Ike or Mist is that 1. He has blue hair 2. He owns the Ragnell And neither of these necessarily mean he's related to Mist or Ike Everyone and their mom in Fire Emblem have blue hair. That doesn't prove anything. And as for Ragnell, I have a couple of theories. If Ike sets off alone at the end of Radiant Dawn, he either trains an apprentice or adopts a kid and passed the Ragnell to them. This also supports the asexual theory. But if Ranulf or Soren go with him at the end, basically the same as above, but it supports the gay theory instead. That's also why Priam would have Ike's headband and cape. And the Ragnell isn't a preferred weapon in Awakening, anyone could use it. So Priam doesn't even have to be related to Ike to use it.

My theory on how priam can exist: he is the spawn of a different ike. Think about it! Heroes confirms that there is an infinite amount of worlds in the fire emblem universe. Some have big differences (like the one that berserk ike comes from), but then you turn around and summon the exact same chrom ten times over. This means that among infinite ikes, there's an infinite amount of ikes that are gay with soren, infinite ikes that are gay with ranulf, and infinite ikes that are straight, reproduce, and result in infinite priams, which then end up in infinite versions of ylisse. Tl;dr priam is the descendant of an ike from a different version of tellius that is straight.

i think that pairing Ike with Elincia completely ruins the whole point of chapter 2 of RD and the whole character development of Elincia who finally becomes able to rule her country Also I would like to point out that Sigrun's support conversation in RD tend to express respect for male characters and affection towards female characters and she appears conflicted because she knows that, given her role/or other factors (E.G. Her A support with Nailah/Elincia), some of those affections are destined to reamain dreams) Funnily enough i believe the only male characters she express that kind of interest is Oliver, i think so to gain his vote in the senate for Sanaki

Theres sone speculation about Priam being a descendant of Mist and Boyd. Remember that Anri fron Archanea never had any descendants, his brother Marcelus did. Regardless, they still say that Marth is a descendant of Anri, so the idea of Priam being Ike's descendant still holds water

Ike is like Sonic and Soren is like Tails. Ike can function on his own like Sonic can but Soren always wants to be by his side and help him in any way he can. Plus Ike isn't the type of guy to be tied down by anyone just like Sonic is (no matter how many Sonic x Amy fan arts their are Sonic himself would never date anyone).
