I don't know what I'm missing with HGSS, I've tried playing it 3 or 4 times now and the furthest I've gotten is the 6th gym. It's just so boring to me. I don't know why though, Crystall is my favourite game, and I love DP&P

the farfetch'd puzzle - you can just step on the twigs to make it face that direction, and then you go behind it while avoiding other twigs that make it face in another direction. hope this helped

Nah bro, Pokemon HGSS improved the vision of GSC which was kinda lacking in the Kanto part. I grew up playing gens 1 and 2 but those games haven't age quite well. HGSS on the other hand are on the top 3 Pokémon games in terms of content.

I actually really liked the GBA graphics. And yes…Sacred Stones is my favorite FE game, lol. Lyn’s game was actually the first FE I played and it’ll always have a special place. But I do have to agree. Echoes is probably the best game in the series. Awesome video man.

I recently played crystal and soulsilver, personaly liked crystal a lot but soulsilver was equally good crystal was indeed more simpel what makes it seem very clear but id say they are equally good.

As someone who prefers G/S/C for many reasons, the hill I will die on is HG/SS would have been the best games ever made if they were released on either the Gen 3 or 5 engines, but the Gen 4 engine really hurt it _that_ much.

I don't think this is as outlandish of an opinion as some people may think. Looking back, the game I've replayed the most between these two is definitely Crystal.

I share your opinion if it's compared with Emerald to ORAS. I genuinely thought Emerald was a better game than ORAS but it wins with lots of nitpicky points. The biggest flaw is certainly not having Battle Frontier though. ORAS is still a fantastic game, just that I thought it could be a lot more better. One of the improvements I thought could be done, is that the Champion change, from Steven to Wallace. Heck, you already had the rematch system in Gen 3, just make it to ORAS. The first time you battle 8th gym and champion, it would be Wallace and Steven. They could have changed this during the rematch to Juan and Wallace.

I disliked HG/SS over Crystal just due to, as someone whos 100% and done everything in Crystal, the gameplay loop in HG/SS isnt the same. Crystal feels like a game you get on, check whats goin on the day, get some pokemon caught and get a trainer rematch etcetc. Hg/Ss feels like every other pokemon game, it isnt bad but it is very different than the originals
