In this video we will go through how to connect your brand new Tello to your phone as well as the gamesir Bluetooth controller.
If you haven’t already picked up a Bluetooth controller, I highly recommend picking up a gamesir for an extra 49 bucks.
To begin with, look inside the Tello shell for it’s WIFI SSID, which is essentially the wifi name. Make sure you write this down somewhere, so you don’t forget. This one is TELLO-AC3AE3.
Next you want to insert a charged battery and turn on the drone from the side power button.
Please pick your highest charged battery and insert it with the notch on the top, then turn your drone on with the power button on the right hand side.
Once the drone’s front LED starts flashing yellow, we are ready to connect!
If you have a Gamesir controller, now is the time to turn it on (make sure its charged).
Lets move to the phone, make sure the Tello app is downloaded, your WIFI and Bluetooth are on.
Now connect your phones wifi to your Tello’s Wifi. If you get any notifications, please press dismiss or yes.
Once you start up the app for the first time, you’ll be greeted with a bunch of notifications, feel free to read at your own pace.
Go into settings, click on Bluetooth controller settings and wait for the gamesir controller to pop up, there is no need to connect through your phones Bluetooth settings.
Some quick tips set your photo quality to high, and here are your calibration settings.
Once all completed, you are now ready to fly!

I was so upset with my Tello having issues with Bluetooth PS4 pairing and after this video i concluded the problem to be pilot error. Do you have a video i can use to solve my new problem? Also, when ran upto 100% the fwd-R motor sounds off, it may be missing a little. After further inspection, I found fwd-R motor to be in properly installed in correct housing and thus no longer missing. Thank you & good day Sir!

Hi Guys. I bought the Tello drone and gamesir t1d controller. The drone works but absolutely nothing works with the controller at all. It does not detect in the app at all, and I have tried pair it it on my pixel 7 but it cannot connect at all (asking for a passkey) and it does not even come up in the pairing options on my partners iphone at all. I promised my son the world and have delivered. Desperate for answers, please let me know what to do

This sub walmart capable drone is junk, I am taking UAS 101 through sonoran dessert institute and we have gone through just about every tutorial there is and we cannot even get it to pair with my cell phone, has anyone had this issue ?
