I thought, wow, that was Telly Savalas :-D A few days later we met again incidentally and decided to have a drink, Later we flew together from Zagreb to Zürich (my birth town) and he en route to America for a family gathering. :-D That's life my friend

So adorably Greek , was this man . Im a woman writing on my husbands account . Im of Greek heritage married to an Englishman . My husband and I loved Telly Savalas . When my husband asked me once what is it about Telly that people loved, especially women , is not that he was particularly good looking he said . MY response was , its that Greek friendliness , that love of people and that innate need to connect . Greeks a very social people , a very hospitable people . Telly had those qualities written all over him . Not to mention his charm and sense of humor. All combined he was a Darling of a human being . You could not help love him . He also had that playful look in his eyes , put it all together and you get that sexual quality as well . We miss him R.I.P. dear Telly .
