How fast does the pairing goes? I never heard a chime while pressing the pairing button. It just gets stuck while installing. Even factory reset doesn’t work. I guess i have a faulty sonos....

Did you connect to your tv using HDMI ARC or optical?

Hdmi arc. If you choose optical the soundbar can learn the ir commands from your remote control so either way is good

@@TellyDan Ok thats good. I've been hearing of problems some ppl have had with the beam and sky q, but it may just be related to surround sound.

@@st4rbuk I think the problem maybe if you set the sky q remote to directly control the sonos. Better to set the q remote to control the TV which will then control the bar via arc anyway

Is there a way to set up without the app. My phone doesn't support. Its ridiculous for such premium product can't include a basic set up with a remote. Hell the crappier sound bars include remotes. Everything should be able to be set up with what you get, shouldn't need a third party product to function.

This sound bar has a great sound but it's so limited. I sent it back for a refund because it has no bluetooth and either needs arc or optical. Nothing else.

Can anyone help me? I’ve connected my beam to my tv via the ARC HDMI, which works fine. But when I then connect my BluRay’s HMDI the beam disables itself & reverts back to my TV speakers. I must then unplug the BluRay’s HDMI to get the beam to work again???? Thanks

I'm guessing you have to set your blurays HDMI port audio to the soundbar in your tvs settings. On modern tvs each HDMI port has individual picture and sound settings.

Gummy Lobster it needs a power supply but it connects via wifi with an app and you can play music to sonos speakers through the app
