Co to ma być? Na takim czymś ma być zamontowany tv ? To całe się rusza. Czy mozna zamocować do własnego uchwytu z wyciągiem do przodu obracaniem na boki góra dół?
@BerserkeR_03111 ай бұрын
For anyone still wanting to mount a 77'' G3, the TV height is 97.5cm. Your eye level when seated is roughly 110cm from the ground, so take the half of the TV (48.75cm) from that number you get 61.25cm round that up you'll have 62cm. Assuming you wall mount it, and make it look clean I'd increase that number to 65cm from the ground so you can place a nice TV console underneath (possibly 60cm in height) the TV, and still see a little bit of your wall in between, instead of keeping it 62cm from the ground, it will look like if someone wants to push the tv behind the cabinet. And you've also got enough room to place a center speaker in your TV console if it's not ported, and angle it upwards to the listeners ears. So, bottom edge of the TV 65cm from the ground, it will be very easy on your neck, the TV will be just a tiny bit higher than the middle of eye level. 65cm + full height of tv (97.5cm) = 162.5cm - 16cm (top of the TV to top of included wall bracket = 146.5cm. So you should mark your center and draw a level line at 146.5cm for the top of your wall mount bracket. Circle the holes with a thin pen at once and you can drill everything. For some with porous walls, you might want to take a wooden plank and drill an 8mm hole in it, and have someone hold it against the wall when you drill the holes with a stone drill bit, that way your drill can't slip away in the wall. You'd obviously want as tight of a fit you can get around the plug, and the included plugs are 5.5cm long so you better drill straight.
@LuckyLuigi10 ай бұрын
This is excellent advice, thanks
@BerserkeR_03110 ай бұрын
@@LuckyLuigi Thanks, another possibility I'd like to mention is to get a less tall TV console so you can put your center speaker on top of it, if you want to. I believe companies also make a TV console of 40cm in height, and high quality (horizontal) center speakers are often ~20cm in height so that also comes out to 60cm, while you'd have the bottom edge of your TV at 65cm. But not everyone wants such a short TV console. But both are valid options, inside or on top. If you place your center speaker on top of a cabinet/tv console, just make sure to move it to the front edge so you cut down on early reflections.

My bench is 42 cm, and eye level in couch seems to be about 101cm, so I think I'm gonna put it at 53 cm from the bottom, to make room for the Sonos Arc below it which is about 9cm. 77 inch, 3 meters away.@@BerserkeR_031

Hey. May I ask for some advice? I installed mine (65 G3) 70 cm from the floor due to the wife not wanting it to be 50-60 cm. Our couch is like 2.8 m (our seating/watching position) from the TV and my eye level is 5-7 cm from the TV centre (I'm 1.82 m). So a tad bit off from the guidelines "of the Internet". I'm not really sold on it yet, since we just moved in and haven't had much time to watch a few movies or try the PS 5 to calm myself down.. Just the idea of having it not "right" (my OCD) is driving me nuts. But I don't really want to drill new holes into the drywall either.. I've been thinking what if I got the Vogel's Pro PFW 6815 / Sanus VLT16 or the Sanus LL11 and used the holes of the LG wall mount (haven't yet checked if they fit). Or if 70 cm from the floor doesn't sound as bad, I might just leave it alone. Thanks.

I'll be using this technique from now on, lol. Thanks for the upload, my friend. Btw, idk if this new or something but these mounting kits come with like a cardboard tool you can fold into a box. It's meant to be placed in that space created between that plate the tv sits in and the bracket itself. It prevents the mount from compressing while you're trying to line up the tv, which was the biggest pain when I started mounting these tvs. I swear sometimes they're not included though, in which case we just grab a block of Styrofoam from the tv box. Just makes mounting the tv that much easier, especially when you're on a 6ft ladder mounting a 86" g3 over a fireplace, lol.

Og course I didn't have the accurate dimensions for fitting plate location to build my wall with studs in the right place for the bracket, recess my bracket to get a flush fitting, build woood / led work so everything fits nicely etc. I mailed LG Customer Services (UK) with the question and they supplied a tech drawing covering all the rear fittings / dimensions / holes for the whole g3 range within 30mins!! Great service!!

Man, you did a much better job explaining how to do this than both LG's instruction-paper and video. - I've been trying to figure it out with my dad's purchase for hours and we weren't sure how to tackle it, especially in terms of not being able to put the panel flat as LG suggests (which also worried us to break it when putting it down or picking it up from horizontally to vertically especially). But clearly, that's not even necessary and we can just pick it up and put it down up against something. - It's a bit less risky than we probably imagined. I suppose the frame-like casing of this model definitely helps with sturdiness. - Anyway, thanks for showing this in detail, cause now we can move ahead with a clearer idea of how to do it. I just wish LG made videos a bit more detailed like this. They streamline it in a very generic and almost abstract way.

I fitted a 77" in a customer's house on Tuesday. None of us were happy with the bracket. There is no tilt on the LG bracket. Also, like you see at 3:23 in the video, there's a lot of play in the bracket so it's too easy for the TV to get knocked out of level. Whoever designed the bracket has never spent any time actually talking to TV installers.
