great footage with the traditional coffee beans shop. because many old folks do not really endorse the internet & social media platform, they did not get well-deserved exposure. this video is a gem. people can now discover lesser known places & buy local more.

Nice to see 2nd generation hawkers here - the coffee bean store, the hainanese scissors curry rice. Hope is not all lost. Provision stores are one of a kind and look at the inventory they carry, how do you even keep track. These days, we need software to manage inventory! Nice to see they go all the way to make things convenient for others. Wow, you go 80 yr old noodle uncle! Can't beat these long-time stalls, they are what you call in hokkien - Lau Ka Siau, youngsters can't even compete with them nor walk a mile in their shoes! Back in those days when I was in Singapore, a whole soy sauce chicken at People's Park cost S$13-S$14. So how much does one cost now? All the food featured here looks delicious.....😊😜😁

Oh, wish u could interview the HK soya sauce noodle chicken stall located opposite the roast duck stall. It’s better than the very famous chicken noodle stall at Alexandra Village and better than the Michelin Chef Chan’s. Cheap and good. The noodle is good and crunchy, the one chopping the chicken looks to be like an old HK chef. Prawn dumpling though small comes with real prawns. I also like the chicken porridge stall owned by a old couple there. Thanks for the effort filming there, I don’t stay Telok Blangah but go there for the food and to support them!

Gosh this uncle cooking wanton mee is 80!!!, His naturally automatic cooking technique is so fast, he could almost do it blindfolded!!! Piggypuggy, as your videos of all hawker centres capture the true Singapore so delightfully, would it be an idea for the government to buy them to keep for posterity/history museum?,. Most importantly, these hawker style quality cooking-hawker centres should be encouraged to continue, ?with incentive. This is one big unique charm of Singapore. Singapore 🇸🇬 is generally a very safe country.. of course one still has to exercise common judgement in all situations. Being a newer block there.. I suppose there should be heaps of young families living there. Plus you can’t ask for a better environment with that much greenery behind it. You can monitor the place for a while. If it’s not suitable then shift to another if it’s a Rental. It’s relatively close to Vivo city. Mainly.. it needs to be convenient. I think there’s an MRT nearby
