TEM Interpretation

Transmission Electron Microscopy is a very important characterization technique for research as well as for industry. The following feature of the very thin sample can be found
1. Topographical (Structure, shape etc.)
2. Morphological (particles, grain, crystallite etc.), HR- TEM
3. Compositional (elemental mapping)
4. Crystalline ( SAED, diffraction pattern, lattice plane etc.)

SAED should be in line with XRD. If the former shows you single or polycrystlline, the later will shows the same.
