XRD Vs SAED

I really appreciate this video. The materials science and microscopy information you are providing is a great service to us all however I'm not sure I agree regarding the statement that saed we ignore intensity. The intensity of the saed rings is the same as xrd and although not typically analysed can have some value. Really the main difference between the two is the specimen preparation required and the interaction or sampling volume of the two techniques.

Thank you so much for your nice words. I have just said for comparison that the SAED ring intensity reflect in XRD peaks. Anyways both are quite different techniques as you mentioned. I agree with you
