I've done this one a couple of times.. Tough hill near the finish line but nice course

Yeah it's a great course, but that climb kinda creeps up on you after a speedy descent and flat section. Picked a great day for it here, did it as one of the two new years day ones a few years back and it was a completely different run that day ❄️⛸️😅

That hill looked tough, I ran at York yesterday and even a flat course was tough in that heat!! Great videos I use them to assess which course to run next! That might not be high on my list 🙂

Thank you and that's amazing, exactly why I like to cram all the information on the screen. Appreciate you watching. York was a great choice, the heat was something else yesterday and so early on too! It did make for a difficult run 🥵🔥🏃♂️

That incline would have killed me. I ride my bike on the weekend ~20 miles (gravel) and I know there's people running that distance and it's mind blowing to me.

Yeah I had forgotten how tough a climb it was, definately made harder by the heat. I wouldn't mind doing 20 miles of cycling gravel as long as it was a flat canal towpath 🤣🤣

Cheers Craig. Awesome video. Think you captured it perfectly. Beautiful park but a decent challenge. Not ever done Temple Newsam parkrun before but have done TNT10 and Grim Up North Marathon called Bluebell Bash Challenge which was 7 laps of hills. I hated and loved it in equal measures. 😆 Congratulations on completing the full set of Leeds parkruns. I've got to ask, which is your favourite and least favourite? Ps. Glad you found cake. 😆

Thanks Colin, the cake was a nice surprise and very much needed after running that climb in that heat lol. Mandy mentioned the 10k there the other day, aren't they trying to raise funds to repair the athletics track? Bet it's a hard bugger. I'd say of all the Leeds parkruns I enjoy Middleton Woods and Cross Flatts equally and Woodhouse Moore least just purely down to the volume of people. Whenever I've gone it has pulled in some right numbers which means my position takes a massive hit 🤣🤣 though I do still enjoy it

Nothing quite like Saturday morning parkrun tourism , I genuinely look forward to it all week lol. 100 by the end of the year is ace (and great YT content 😉)
