I'll add anything with Miche Braden. I love Juice with Mario Jose and Perfect Duet with Mario and India Carney. All of Me with Kiah Victoria, Thriller with Wayne Brady, and Mr. Blue Sky with Allison Young are other favorites that don't get enough attention. And for a bit of humor, Blurred Lines, of all things, turned into a lesbian barn dance song with Robyn Adele. Watch it twice -- once for the song and once just to watch bassist Adam Kubota utterly fail to hide his appreciation for the view he's got. PS: Sorry if I've mentioned anything you've already done. Setting the record straight, Haley was tired, not sick. This is why Haley was tired: Haley took a red eye flight over the Atlantic to Berlin to join PMJ for her first ever professional tour. She went straight to the venue from the airport, did one song ("Habits" her debut w/ PMJ), participated in All About That Bass (Morgan, Arianna and Cristina Gatti were performing, Cristina brought her into the song to sing a line). Then PMJ toured every day different countries for a week, THEN had a day off to record Creep and All About That Bass in Switzerland. So flying in and immediately performed and toured on the road for a week straight. THAT was why she was tired. Scott DID NOT have to convince her to sing, in fact she wanted to try again because she thought she could do better, but Scott said it was perfect. They recorded Creep One week after Haley came on tour, no time to recover from jet lag. Please stop spreading this falsehood that she was sick and had to be convinced to sing, Haley lives to sing. It took Creep less than one year to become PMJ's most viewed video. Reason I ask is that not only is it filmed in the same room, but only the drummer and Scott's coat are different - the strings are all the same musicians, just seated in a slightly different order. The hidden drummer is a kind of trademark by PMJ. Back in the day when Scott Bradley shot these videos from his apartment, there was barely enough room for the whole band, so the drummer was always hidden behind all the other musicians.

I'm not sure I've ever said that a cover is better than the original before, let alone when it comes to my favorite song of my favorite band, but its just that good. Its like hearing it for the first time again. The band does a perfect job with the dynamics, getting real quiet at the start of each verse and building up to each chorus. The pianist squeezes in great little riffs in between the vocals without being repetitive or distracting. And Haley, obviously just blows the lid off; combining the stylistic jazz, the spirit and emotion of the original, and her own style then dialing it up to 11.

Love PMJ but Haley Reinhart is the best singer on the planet and PMJ is fortunate to have gotten her to perform with them. Her parents were performing when she was a child and Haley said herself she is an old soul who has studied and loves jazz and 60's rock. She came in 3rd on American Idol in 2011 with like 15 performances maybe more and every one was amazing, she should have won. Still she has a successful career doing a lot of jazz and blues. Her Lo-Fi Soul album is outstanding with many originals including "Don't know how to love you", "Lay it down", "Shook" and many more. Her cover of Elvis' "Can't help falling in love" went viral in 2015 for a Wrigley's Extra Gum commercial. With PMJ she also covers "All about that bass", "7 nation army", "Black hole sun", "Mad world"and a few more. PMJ's most viewed videos star Haley. My favorite is Haley's rendition of "Can't find my way home" esp. the version she performed with her father who accompanies with guitar last year at Chess Records in Chicago, her hometown. Her voice is even better now than the Creep song done on this reaction 5-6 years ago. Look forward to more Haley!

Creep is by far the most successful music cover ever performed by PMJ and in fact, it stayed on the Billboard Jazz Digital Chart for 58 straight weeks. As Haley Reinhart is easily the best female vocalist by far to have ever performed with PMJ. As everything she did with PMJ is excellent. Meanwhile, the next two covers she did with PMJ with the most views are the classic "Seven Nation Army" and "Oops, I Did It Again". If you want to be blown away again and also want to entertain your subscribers at the same time, then let me suggest you react to both of those two aforementioned covers. You won't regret it.

She was on season 10 of American Idol and finished in 3rd place. I love her voice and her singing style! I loved that scat very much! i would strongly recommend "all about the bass" next. another great post modern jukebox collaboration that includes haley along with two other great pmj female singers, morgan james (julliard grad) and ariana zavalas (tele's aka "kojak" daughter) ... "habits" is another playful haley/pmj combo where you even get to see the drummer and she even whistles in that one. then you can follow up with her solo "extra" gum commercial version of "can't help following in love with you" originally song by elvis presley. haley is truly amazing and addictive. she has elements of stevie nicks, janis joplin, norah jones, maria carey, ella fitzgerald, etta james, with strange character splashes of minnie mouse, marilyn monroe and yes, jessica rabbit that create this unbelievable combination of jazz, rock&roll and soul that is so unique... her video cover of "creep" maybe the best cover of all time

It's sort of a running inside joke that the drummer is covered, which had to do with the space the first few years of PMJ filming videos (very limited). One of my favorite, and one of Scott's first featured singers - Niia - who hasn't done a whole lot of covers with PMJ but the first I saw Only Girl (in the World) - Rihanna Cover where the production value of the video (but not the sound) was left wanting. Scott's style - one camera one take - pretty much sums up how he does it. Great live show if you've not caught them.

F I N A L L Y !!! This is my absolute favorite version of Creep!! PMJ always hides the drummer. It’s a running joke with them. Haley was sick like everyone said and she did do this in one take. This also wasn’t the only video they recorded that day. They were on tour out of the Country so had to take full advantage of the studio time they had.

This is a great song and an awesome performance by Haley, but my favorite of her vocal performances, which I've not seen a vocal coach react to, is "Lay It Down". That song gave me a whole new perspective on what a vocal talent she actually is.

1st thx for letting us know, you did this. I was kinda taken back when I saw your notification to me from 6 months ago. I assume it really made an impact for you to let us know or you actually had these comments marked somewhere as a request. It's pretty obvious why there are so many views on this cover by Haley. What I liked so much bedsides how great she is in every way that she performed it, is her enunciations of her vowels. I'm not a singer but I recognized that immediately. And she changes it often for the same words throughout the song. She had no training early on except for her mom and dad who raised her growing up who are musicians, as they themselves played at different venues and drove around with their family intact working and making a living doing the circuit in their area of Chicago. I'll leave another link for another soon to be star, who also has that grit and growl with a very suttle quick vibrato. Courtney Hadwin is her name. She's was very young in this link, 14 years old. But she is well beyond her years. Hey DJ! The drummer out of frame, is actually a running joke with PMJ. If you checkout their version of "All about that Bass" you'll see at one point, the drummer wave from the back. Something you didn't mention, was that the snare drum was loosened all the way out for period authenticity. This was the 3 of 3 videos shot that day, and Haley was very tired. Scott convinced her to give it one shot. This is the one and only take! You've got to see their "Bad Romance", because it's not only amazing, but they actually utilize tap/soft shoe to enhance the arrangement. Very cool!

The drummer is a kind of PMJ gag. He is always hidden by his own choice. At least that was the case at the time. I haven't watched any new PMJ vids in a while. They may even have a different drummer now for all I know. I would suggest Maps featuring Morgan James or Seven Nation Army featuring Haley. It is hard to believe that this voice finished third on American Idol to two teenage country singers. That did it for me with that show.
