@@davesheville2023 it matters only if your trying to play it off a sheet. It can be written either way. Time signatures in general are for communication between composers and players. If I happen to write a guitar riff that sounds cool and it happens to be in some whacky time signature, nobody cares. It’s just that generally, 7/8 has more of a “lurch” and 7/4 is less likely to be identified as an odd time signature. Pau can write it however she wants and you can have whatever headcanon you want, but ultimately none of us are reading off a sheet.

Great reaction/review Temple! This is the 2nd single off of their yet to be released 3rd full-length LP. "We wrote - EVOLVE - about humanity's dangerous obsession with evolving... and how sometimes that evolution leads us to slowly leave our humanity behind. Is this dehumanizing evolution right or wrong?" The Villarreal sisters are amazing songwriters and performers who are truely grateful and endearing to all of their fans. Each one of their original songs is an absolute banger. Their second album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and psychosis and eventually suicide. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI Century Blood", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "Escape the Mind"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group last fall. We are all patiently awaiting their 3rd album release. The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 5, 5 and 3 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are just 21, 19 and 16 years old now and have already written and arranged 45 original songs all by themselves. Looking forward to watching you discover more of this great band. Life = Change We are creatures of habit. It is our resistance to change that causes our greatest emotional pain. No Pain = No Gain Thank you for your support by reacting to my favorite band Temple! 🔥🤘😎👍💯👏👏

EVOLVE: Before the Olympics had started, they already won a gold medal 【⚡】. Again a Warning explosive 💣diamant . This will be a killer live song. Dave and the boys have got their work cut out not to be outplayed by The Warning in Mexico City 😮 😮. Big compliments to Rudy, Luis & Moni for the creative concept. They captured the vulcanic 🌠🧨energy of the band and the song in a stellar 🌟 clip. Dany is so good with the camera, she really delivers the song. Her vocals and riffs again are sensational. I am surprised that the DW-kit was not physically on fire 🥁 🔥, because Pau certainly was. She already had her surgeon gloves on, then you know you are Warned. NY has the statue of liberty. Monterrey has the statue of Bass. Ale Ale, thunder sound, solid foundation. She has the Bebop like all great bass players have. The only question that remains is: how can they top this? The funny thing is the DPA-express will come up with an answer again and again and will hit me, you and others like an out of control freight train. Rock poderosa 💪 to the Mex 💚 👀 ❤️. 💯 💯Gracias chicas ❣️. P.S.: If this is heaven, I become a Christian.

@jonathanspahn73089 ай бұрын
@davesheville2023 I have actually played this on my bass. The songs tempo is at quarter note = 175. In 4/4, each measure has four beats at that tempo. But when the time signature changes, the tempo remains consistent with four quarter notes across 2 measures. Since the measures are 7 beats with 2 measures completing a phrase, that makes the beats 1/8 notes and therefore a 7/8 time signature. You can't have 7 quarter notes in a measure at this tempo. It would be completely different.
@davesheville20239 ай бұрын
@@jonathanspahn7308 If the tempo is crotchet = 175, and then you count the 7's and the 4's at 175, the signature change has to be 7/4 unless you are changing the overall tempo of the song to half. When the time signature changes you are not counting 4 quarter notes across two measures at all, you're counting 7 quarter note beats to a bar. Are you actually saying that you can't play 7/4 at 175 bpms or have I misunderstood that point? It's the same as Times Like These by the Foo Fighters.... main riff is 7/4 and the rest of the song is 4/4. The tempo of the downbeat stays the same.

@@holydado where did I mention disliking others ? Although it is absolutely true,that many reactors are only there for the views,and despite their lack of critique,or knowledge about the music,if it's a favourite artist of mine,I will still watch their reaction,and usually put a like on their upload. There's just too many reactors out there,some call themselves rock singers,rappers,opera singers etc to justify or talk themselves up,but you can immediately tell,they're not. It's just a much more enjoyable watching experience,when the reactor has musical knowledge,and can express that knowledge. At the end of the day,the fact that The Warning are getting such a great algorithm going through the reaction channels is only a win-win situation,and the more their name gets spread,the better.
