Absolutely on point for Pinback. The perfect way the drums compliment the guitars. Rob overlaying complex vocals - and lyrics - so you have to suss out the meaning for yourself. And it is always slightly different. This is like Pollock and Picasso....art for artists. We are getting decades of this gold from him.

There's a series of videos on youtube called "What's in my bag?" At Amoeba records. Basically musicians or other famous people go cd shopping and show off what they got. I am a huge Neil Gaiman fan and in the one with him and his wife Amanda Palmer, she picks out a Pinback cd. Checked em out and have been listening to them heavily for the past year. Recently made it out to Amoeba myself and picked up some Rob Crow solo cds

I'm amazed at how underrated this band is. Their talent is incredible. I discovered them in college and still jam out to them. Ok, sometimes I smoke and listen to these guys. Did I mention their music is absolutely incredible to listen to high? "Offline PK", "AFK" "Barnes" "Loro" to name a few. Also, these guys must be gamers.... "offline pk" "AFK". Love it.

Hell, in your Jr. High band or Chorus you covered songs. Cover songs are hugely influential upon you if you love the song you're covering.
